This time, I bring you a cosplay work of Liberalio from Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. My studio partner and I completed this studio shoot back in May. During the preparation stage, I became highly interested in the black lace and asymmetrical cutout design of this costume, wanting to present the character's cold, glamorous, yet slightly charming temperament in front of the lens. For the makeup and hair, the wig features a light purple gradient paired with black bow hair accessories. When styling the twintails, special attention was paid to the natural flow of the hair strands to avoid looking too rigid. The eye makeup uses red colored contacts as the visual focus, paired with a fair, clean base makeup to neutralize the visual heaviness brought by the large amount of black clothing. The strap design of this costume is a true test of adjustment skills, as it needs to ensure structural stability while exposing a well-proportioned waist and abdomen line. The layered lace miniskirt and long ribbons on the lower body, paired with over-the-knee black stockings, showcase excellent dynamism when moving, presenting a strong Gothic aesthetic style overall.

On the day of the shoot, we specially selected a scene with white Roman pillars and large stained-glass windows. Natural light filtered through the stained glass, creating beautiful ambient light and shadow. Combined with a vintage black fake birdcage nearby as an accent prop, it further enhanced the narrative feel of the frame, endowing the character with a touch of the serenity and mystery of a jellyfish. When trying out different poses, besides maintaining high-accuracy expression management, I had to constantly pay attention to the drape of the costume ribbons to avoid messiness. Although the entire photoshoot lasted for several hours with repeated adjustments from lighting calibration to set design, seeing the integration of light, shadow, and character temperament in the final photos made me feel it was completely worth it. This shooting experience gave me a deeper practical understanding of the Goddess of Victory IP, inspiring me to present the character's unique charm more three-dimensionally while maintaining costume accuracy. This set of photos is not only a tribute to the character but also an effective practice of my own understanding of character details through this Anime cosplay and Gothic style photography session.
