This time, I am bringing you an Anime cosplay of Theresa from Arknights based on the Civilight Eterna Condolence Cosplay theme. The hardest part of the styling actually lies in the layering of the headpiece and the veil, especially the combination of the large white flower on top of the head with the golden vine leaves, which requires very precise fixation to ensure it doesn't shift during the shoot. For the black veil section, two types of mesh tulle with different hardness levels were layered together, providing a draped feel without blocking the facial features, while also revealing a hazy texture under the light illumination.

The wig selected is a gradient version from pale pink to silver-white. This color appears exceptionally translucent under strong light, creating a massive visual contrast with the black costume. The colored contacts chosen are a pale pink style to echo the character's eye color, paired with a slightly elongated eyeliner and pale orange blush, making the overall makeup lean toward a somewhat fragile softness rather than a very sharp, dark aesthetic.

The surface of the costume utilizes a glossy black satin material, and the immense puffiness of the cuffs combined with ruffles allows for more tension in expression and movement. The crossed woven ropes and pendants on the chest also required attention regarding angles during the shoot to prevent them from tangling with the black veil at the neckline. In terms of props, besides that vintage red-and-gold color scheme book, I also prepared a white rose bouquet and a white crucifix this time. These props can shift the shooting atmosphere quite well; for instance, holding the book can interpret that state of quiet reading, clutching the bouquet can express a more sacred and solemn temperament, while the head-lowered posture holding the crucifix can get closer to the character's original sense of conviction.

The entire shooting scene was decorated with a large number of white Roman pillars, floral arrangements, and vintage candlesticks. This bright, sacred scene forms a powerful visual impact with the black costume, while maintaining a quiet atmosphere of mourning. To find the best dynamic feel, I experimented with different expression shifts during the shoot, such as pulling aside the veil to look forward, looking down at the flowers, and cradling the props, hoping to present that inner trait of Arknights Theresa—steadfast yet carrying a hint of fragility. I thoroughly enjoyed the overall makeup, styling, and the photo-producing process this time, which also served as an upgrade for myself in attempting this kind of style.
