At the 8.3 Shanghai Uma Musume Only Event, the crowd and atmosphere were electric. Navigating the convention in my heavy green gold-trimmed racing attire with an enormous skirt—featuring a complex design of a high collar, long sleeves, hard-to-secure animal ear hair accessories, and the white diamond forehead mark—it truly lived up to the phrase "wearing the most clothes." With multiple layers of fabric and a thick inner lining, walking around the sweltering convention hall left me drenched in sweat, but for the sake of ultimate accuracy, it was completely worth it.

Starting with hair and makeup: I spent a long time trimming this wig to achieve natural layers, and peeling/re-applying the diamond forehead sticker several times to get the symmetry right. For eye makeup, a soft reddish-brown shade was diffused broadly beneath the eyes, paired with luminous amber contact lenses to create an ethereal aura. The costume fabric has immense texture—the dark brown collar capelet and its gold embroidery stitching are exquisite. While the wide, cream-colored sleeves somewhat hindered daily movement, they looked exceptionally elegant when posing, evoking the classic noble heiress vibe.

At the convention, as a devoted trainer, seeing so many gorgeous horse girls on site sent me into pure ecstasy—there were almost too many to take in! The happiest moment was finally posing closely with the creator I've admired forever with that incredible CG-tier face! In person, their presence was stunning with features as sharp and refined as a 3D model, yet so sweet and approachable. My hands were shaking when we hugged and took photos together—truly a dream come true.

Beyond admiring other horse girls, the greatest highlight was the feast of snacks for this trainer. The photographer brought a huge bag of snacks, and I happily munched away right beside the booth. After getting tired of walking, I squatted in a quiet corner of the venue to rest, holding milk tea, spacing out while snacking. These photos capture my most genuine moments of rest—one holding snack packaging, one holding milk tea, another resting my chin on my hands while spacing out, and looking down. I feel these candid snapshots carry the unique, languid vibe of an Anime convention cosplay, and the contrast is super fun.

Although this gear was heavy and tricky to put on and take off, receiving compliments and photo requests from fellow fans, seeing so many amazing Uma Musume cosplay works, and especially meeting the creator I had longed to see made the day completely worth it. The joy of an anime convention often lies in these genuine details—even just squatting on the floor snacking and soaking in the community atmosphere, this sense of belonging is incomparable. Thank you to all the photographers on site for attentively capturing these moments, recording my most authentic self at this Shanghai Uma Musume Only Event.
