[Belle cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero street casual convention photos

Taking advantage of the nice sunshine, I took a set of Zenless Zone Zero Belle cosplay convention photos in a nearby industrial area. This outfit particularly emphasizes the tailoring and overall vibe, because the character's setting is that effortless, comfortable street-style presence.

First, the hair: styling this purple wig required careful attention; the front bangs needed jagged, textured layers rather than being cut too neatly, otherwise it would look stiff. The small white hairpin clipped to one side nicely brightened the visual center of the head. For the clothing, the color-block design of the jacket is the soul. Splicing black, white, orange, and blue together keeps it from looking too cluttered while making it highly recognizable. The inner black long-sleeved shirt is printed with large white letters; although usually hidden inside the jacket, when exposed while walking, the graphic adds plenty of casual flair. On the bottom, I wore light gray shorts paired with a wide brown leather belt; the belt buckle aligns right at the waistline, visually elongating leg proportions. The highlight of this outfit is actually the lower body—I deliberately chose burgundy long socks featuring dark, subtle geometric patterns for a slight visual slimming effect. Paired with white platform sneakers, the leg lines look crisp and neat. With this kind of styling, if you don't pay attention to matching shoes and socks, the lower body can easily look bulky, but these sneakers have a relatively sleek shape that nicely neutralizes the loose fit of the shorts.

Since this shoot was primarily focused on convention photo style on location, we didn't deliberately set up complex lighting. The large cement column in the background and the rusted metal pipes beside it served as ready-made props. Leaning against them, the rough concrete surface formed a great contrast with the sleek texture of the jacket. When posing, I tried to stay relaxed: crossing my arms and bending one leg back against the metal support. These seemingly casual movements best capture the character's effortless spontaneity and confidence.

Shooting on location tests one's adaptability to the environment the most. Because the cement wall has a cool color tone, the post-processing preserved a bit of the environmental cool tones, making the purple hair appear more textured. The stitching and patchwork of the garment were also carefully executed; the transition zone between orange and navy blue made the whole jacket pop out in the industrial setting. Beyond showcasing the outfit, this relaxed style of photography aims to convey the lived-in atmosphere of the character casually wandering around in a non-combat state. Even though they are just location photos, every time I put on this costume, I can feel the character's free-spirited aura—perhaps that is the unique charm of combining anime cosplay with reality. Completing a whole look, from styling and costume to venue and photography, is a process worth savoring in every detail.
