This finished Belle cosplay photo set is finally out to meet everyone! When I shared the preview earlier, many friends asked about the wardrobe details. Today, alongside this photo set, I'd love to take you behind the scenes of bringing Zenless Zone Zero's Belle to life.

To capture Belle's signature blend of capable composure and spirited street flair, I put immense care into wardrobe selection. The black high-neck base layer was fundamental, but the true challenge lay in the orange-and-blue color-blocked sleeveless utility vest. The tailoring of this vest was critical—it had to stay structured and crisp while creating a rich, layered silhouette when unzipped. The zippers, pocket detailing, and the orange belt around the waist were all executed with high fidelity. The lower half was styled with a dark mini skirt, where the peek-a-boo magenta plaid lining under the hem served as a striking highlight, paired with black Over-the-knee socks and chunky platform dad sneakers to establish layered depth. The retro handheld console prop hanging at the hip, the blue wavy pendant necklace, and the orange fingerless gloves all enriched the visual elements, rooting the look deeply in urban street aesthetics.

The shooting location was an authentic, lively street; the storefronts and signage in the background resonated seamlessly with Belle's identity as a store manager. To do justice to this shoot, I dedicated plenty of effort to pose choreography. While Belle possesses the reliable maturity of a manager, she also has a vibrant, playful side, so I explored diverse moods before the lens. In Photo 1, I raised a hand as if greeting customers off-camera to kick off business hours. When seated in Photos 2 and 7, to avoid stiffness, I varied my poses between cross-legged and bent-knee stances to flatter the visual lines of the socks and skirt. The shot in Photo 3 leaning against a pillar offered great perspective depth, capturing a pleasantly relaxed, languid ambiance. The jumping action in Photo 6 was a delightful surprise—I originally just wanted to channel her lively energy, yet the captured frame radiated dynamic tension, evoking the sensation of dashing freely through the streets.

As a cosplayer who loves expressing characters through the lens, I firmly believe that embodying a persona goes far beyond wearing matching garments. Fabric textures, prop coordination, and harmonious hair and makeup all cultivate confidence during shooting. For instance, to complement this styling, I wore green contact lenses, trimmed a layered deep-blue bob wig, and pinned an orange letter-logo barrette to the right side. Small as these nuances are, the moment you step before the camera, they help you settle instantly into character.

Many friends previously asked if shooting outdoors made me nervous. The sunlight was intense that day, and roaming the streets in a heavy vest was undeniably taxing on stamina, but seeing the final frames made every ounce of effort worthwhile. Beyond replicating her fashion, this set aims to convey Belle's effortless, quirky charm. Whether glancing back at a street corner or lounging cross-legged along the curb, I hope these frames allow everyone to feel Proxy Belle's vivid spirit.
