Bringing Remielle from Zenless Zone Zero to life beside a nighttime pool, I ran through the entire vision in my mind from pre-production to the final cut. To embody her distinct aura within a physical environment, location scouting was paramount—and the waterside was undeniably the perfect setting to harmonize with this wardrobe.

First, regarding the outfit itself, this design is packed with layered paneling and cutout details. The white halter portion of the top required precise tension adjustments; because the back features sweeping cutouts, any loose strap or slight shift would easily slip out of place during dynamic movement. The blue-purple gradient ruffles around the neckline possess lush, tiered volume; I pinned their edges down bit by bit to ensure they cascaded into natural undulations before the lens without obscuring the waist cutouts. The translucent blue-and-purple gradient tulle skirt serves as the visual highlight of the lower silhouette. This fabric catches a subtle luster under studio strobes but wrinkles easily, requiring me to smooth down the drape before every single take to maintain peak fluidity. When the silver chains and blue satin ribbons drifted in the breeze, they infused the frames with effortless, kinetic grace.

The white wing props mounted behind me were the undisputed centerpiece of this production. To sustain their substantial volume, the wings are engineered around an internal supportive armature, draped heavily in genuine feathers to maximize photographic presence. Rigging them demanded rock-solid stabilization, as my choreography included single-leg balances, quick spins, and expansive arm reaches. If they were too heavy, they would stifle bodily fluidity; if too light, wind resistance would make them wobble erratically. After continuous adjustments, we struck that sweet spot, letting the wings unfurl with an organic, weightless poise before the camera.

For makeup, to complement the short pink wig and pointed Elf ears, I wore violet-pink contact lenses. The eye makeup avoided overly heavy shading, prioritizing crystalline translucence paired with soft pink blush to craft an aura of gentle, otherworldly mystique. The wig's fringe was meticulously shaped to hug the forehead and cheekbones, with root texturing calibrated repeatedly so the silhouette wouldn't collapse or turn messy in the waterside breeze. The purple hair accessory pinned at the crown provided the finishing touch, locking the head's silhouette into complete harmony.

The nocturnal pool environment was shrouded in pitch-black darkness, punctuated only by pool waters glowing with deep sapphire under underwater fixtures. Such extreme contrast posed an intense test for lighting design. The key strobe had to pack enough punch so the crisp white textile and pink-blue gradient tulle wouldn't get swallowed by the void-like background, while ambient water specular highlights provided exquisite organic bounce. Posing barefoot atop wet ceramic tiles felt noticeably chilly, yet going barefoot was essential to preserve visual unity.

The translucent swim ring in hand was another vital prop. Tinted in faint periwinkle and printed with starry motifs alongside 'Summer Party' lettering, it not only enriched the compositions but granted me natural avenues for physical interaction. I held it across my chest, dangled it casually with one hand, or braced against it as if emerging freshly from the water. These actions transformed the photos into authentic vignettes of summer play rather than rigid, lifeless posing. While posing, I focused on extending leg lines: standing with one knee subtly bent accentuated the waist cutouts while lengthening the legs' visual sweep. Before the lens, I let relaxed body language channel the character's emotional rhythm—holding a faint, serene smile and maintaining purposeful eye contact to project confident, effortless ease.

The photographer guided me attentively throughout, advising how to angle the silhouette so the wing feathers held layered depth, and how to tilt my torso to showcase the garment's precise tailoring. We continually fine-tuned camera positions and chiaroscuro until seizing peak moments. Though physically grueling, seeing those luminous, crystal-clear frames wash across the monitor made every ounce of effort profoundly rewarding. This devotion is why I pour my heart into every cosplay project—to bring the character's authentic beauty to life across each image.
