Today, I'm sharing the official photo set from this Angels of Delusion cosplay from Zenless Zone Zero. From preparation to the wrap of the shoot, the entire styling underwent quite a few refinements. First, the costume: perched atop my head are white heart-framed sunglasses, while the two cyan-blue horn-like accessories nestled in the hair went through multiple material revisions to achieve a lightweight yet distinctly mechanical feel. The pink collar with a red bow around the neck, accented by a tiny yellow duck pendant, adds a delightfully playful detail to the ensemble. The top features an off-the-shoulder cut adorned with a fluffy white puff ornament on the back, punctuated by red ribbon accents across the chest and back. The sleeves are detached pink sleevelets studded with silver rivets, paired on the lower half with a multi-layered mini skirt—a white pleated outer layer over a pink ruffled lining. The cyan thigh garter on my right leg echoes the hair ornaments perfectly. For makeup, I opted for pale-toned contact lenses, pink-tinted eyeshadow, and pronounced blush, with a small black triangle decal placed on my left cheek.
The location was set in an industrial space; the background featured red shipping containers stenciled with white serial numbers and black oil drums nearby, with a cool blue neon light set up on the right. Standing in three-quarter profile, looking back slightly, I crossed my hands over my chest, gently pinching the red ribbons. During the shoot, the interplay of blue and red lighting washed across the garments, making the pink and white elements pop vividly against the moody background. I tried to keep my movements as natural as possible, avoiding any stiff, forced posing. To complement the outfit's character, I incorporated subtle waist twists and layered arm placements in my pose choreography to create a more three-dimensional silhouette. Whenever crafting styling with this sweet and cool girl aesthetic with Cyberpunk style flair, I pay special attention to the relationship between garment construction and layered lighting—for example, the subtle textural shifts of the pink sleeves and white skirt under the blue ambient glow were particularly fascinating. This contrast precisely matches my interpretation of the Angels of Delusion concept: a soft, sweet exterior fused with the hardcore edge of mecha and cyberpunk. From head-to-toe styling to ambient scenery, this Anime-style photography set strives to recreate that distinct presence within the Zenless Zone Zero universe. Between takes, I continually adjusted the position of the sunglasses and the tension of the leg garter to ensure no awkward bunching appeared on camera. Though the process was meticulous and demanding, seeing the final photos made every bit of effort completely worthwhile.
