This Zenless Zone Zero Dialyn Cosplay outfit has so many details, especially the black-and-white color blocking paired with bright cyan accents, giving a rich sense of visual layering. The sleeves on both sides feature puffy lantern sleeve designs, with fine black stripes on white fabric and light lace trimming at the cuffs. The high collar combined with off-the-shoulder design preserves both the character's exquisite feel and the mobility needed during combat. There are numerous details around the waist: that thick bright cyan braided rope is super eye-catching, and the red rings alongside gold token-shaped charms attached next to it produce a crisp clinking sound when moving.
As for the hairstyle, two fluffy white pom-poms on top of the head are super adorable, paired with thick white bangs that add a playful touch to an otherwise capable look. The very long and thick black braid on the left side is the absolute soul of this styling; during the Studio shoot, I deliberately swung it to capture the moment of the braid floating mid-air, which, paired with the metal ring decorations on the braid, brought out maximum dynamic sense.
To capture Dialyn's agility and unique combat stance, we specifically chose a pure white background for ACG photography. This avoids background interference and allows the visual focus to concentrate entirely on the subject and outfit details. The gold patterns and edging on the left thigh-high sock were handled well, complemented by that heavy knee pad on the left knee and golden strap buckles, bringing out the character's techwear style immensely. The shoe soles feature platform gold rims, with shoelaces using bright cyan to echo the waistline, maintaining high consistency from top to bottom.
Shooting in the studio, the single-leg standing pose actually severely tested core strength—especially to keep leg lines looking attractive, thigh muscles needed to be engaged while maintaining body balance and a natural expression. I tried posing with hands crossed over my chest to restore the character's confident and effortlessly composed attitude in the game as much as possible. The photographer chosen for this Cosplay photography session really understood the character's traits; the lighting was very clean, ensuring white clothing didn't look flat and black areas didn't turn into a featureless shadow, fully presenting the folds and textures of the outfit.
For this kind of anime cosplay work, the greatest joy lies in transforming a 2D character into a 3D real-life presentation. From picking the suitable wig, shaping the curvature of bangs, to adjusting every single strap, and repeatedly trying optimal angles in front of the lens, although the process is tedious, seeing oneself in the photos highly aligned with the character's demeanor brings a huge sense of accomplishment. Especially during post-processing, fine-tuning the lighting slightly made the bright cyan color pop even more, highlighting the character's signature color scheme. Overall photo results were very satisfying; the clean and crisp style is well-suited to showcasing this character's aesthetic. This shoot was a thoroughly enjoyable experience that also gave me a deeper understanding of the character.
