For the first two days of Guangzhou CICF, I showcased this Vivian cosplay look from Zenless Zone Zero. The overall outfit features a striking contrast between a sleek black form-fitting silhouette and dramatic white flared sleeves. The top is a sleeveless, form-fitting design with a teardrop cutout at the chest, paired with metallic chains and a purple gemstone pendant at the neck. Slanted across the chest is a pink-and-purple color-blocked sash acting as the visual centerpiece, with the fabric possessing a subtle sheen. The black leather corset cincher at the waist is adorned with square metal buckles and studs, flanked by slender silver chains dangling on both sides that softly clink with every step. The lower half consists of black shorts layered beneath a long back-train lined with silky deep-blue fabric, which creates a wonderful drape and luster under the booth lighting.
Most noteworthy are the sleeves: black on the upper half, transitioning into dramatic white multi-tiered pleated flare sleeves below. Each tier is sewn with silver teardrop-shaped metal accents, holding a remarkably crisp, structured shape rather than clinging limply to the arms. To complement this outfit, I prepared a white half-face mask, wearing a short black glove on my left hand and a white glove on my right hand, making it easy to handle my phone or interact with fans at any time. The wig is pale lavender-white, styled with an eyepatch covering the left eye; securing this eyepatch required quite a few hairpins and nets, but it stayed firmly in place throughout the entire day at the convention, which was very satisfying.
During the first two days at the Molika Monster Master booth, I met many fellow fans who recognized the character. Due to limited booth space, mirror selfies became the most convenient format for Convention photos. Even though my face is covered with a sticker, the overall body proportions and structural silhouette of the costume remain clearly visible. The high waistline and just-right short length visually elongate leg lines nicely. The corset slightly restricts bending over, but for a clean, sharp silhouette, this was a necessary little compromise.
I will still be on site at Guangzhou CICF for the following two days, though I will be switching to a different outfit—details will be revealed on site! I'm posting these mirror selfies today because the fabric textures and light interplay rendered remarkably clear and crisp indoors. Because the sleeves are quite voluminous, moving around the booth or picking up items required extra care to avoid sharp booth edges from snagging the fabric.
Lighting across the booth is relatively intricate; this black outfit could easily blow out under harsh stage lights, so I pulled the exposure down slightly during mirror selfies to preserve metallic accents and sash coloration. When portraying characters with extensive accessories and structured tailoring, always check the sturdiness of all metal buckles and chains before leaving to prevent losing parts on the convention floor. The snug tailoring limits broad mobility, so minimizing dramatic movements in favor of standing quietly or angling slightly sideways to highlight silhouette lines was the safest posing approach. Overall, this Vivian look held up solidly at the booth; the monochrome palette made it instantly recognizable in the crowd, and the harmony between the wig and props substantially elevated the character's completion in this cosplay.
