[Sunna cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero KFC Collaboration Photoshoot Experience & Outfit Styling Share

This Zenless Zone Zero KFC collaboration photoshoot took place mainly at the Xinman Club photography session in Shenzhen. The pure white studio cyclorama was perfect for this fresh aesthetic, and the light reflection made skin look exceptionally fair and translucent. Yuanxiao Shu was in great form in front of the lens that day, with wonderful synergy—many poses worked on the very first take.

Let's first talk about the costume preparation. The mint-green curly wig was specially chosen to give off a lightweight, breezy feeling. The cat-ear headband with lace trim and black-and-red lining framed the face nicely, and paired with custom cartoon stickers on the cheek, it looked very playful. The outfit consisted of a light-pink camisole tank top printed with cute cartoon patterns, paired with black athletic shorts featuring white piping, creating an overall cozy yet lively at-home vibe. The white lace sleeves and White stockings were the true soul of this styling—especially the over-the-knee White stockings, which had a subtle compression effect that, when paired with dark brown platform loafers, photographed brilliantly against the white studio backdrop.

The venue for this photo session was very professional, providing a variety of props. For example, with the wood-grain school desk and chairs, I could sit on the edge of the desk or sit backward on the chair with extended leg poses, which not only accentuated slender leg lines but also highlighted the character's energetic persona. The large white plush floor cushion was also super comfortable; sitting cross-legged resting my chin in my hand or stretching my legs out for soles/foot close-ups looked very dynamic on camera. The pink strawberry cushion was the cherry on top, adding a sweet summer ambiance.

I have to praise the perks at Xinman Club—they provided the venue and lighting equipment, and even prepared unlimited snacks and drinks! This is incredibly friendly for cosplayers during long shoots, making recharging mid-session so easy and keeping fatigue at bay throughout the day.

Special thanks to Yuanxiao Shu for her stellar performance in front of the camera. Her expressive range was fantastic, whether resting her chin in thought or crossing arms in a cheeky pose, nailing every beat. When posing, adjustments were made on request, such as how to extend body lines more fluidly or where folds in the White stockings looked most natural.

Cosplaying characters from the Zenless Zone Zero franchise sets high standards for costume and prop details. The shooting atmosphere this time was relaxed, and paired with the clean white backdrop, the photos needed little complex retouching to turn out great. Putting on this outfit and slipping into the cat ears instantly got me into character, and I'm very satisfied with the fidelity. This Cosplay photography experience went seamlessly, and I'll definitely return here for other themes whenever possible!
