This Arknights photoshoot was planned for a long time, deliberately scheduled during the peak cherry blossom blooming season. The red arched bridge, ancient lanterns, and stone steps beneath our feet crafted a perfectly matched Cherry blossom Japanese style ambiance for Suzuran, Vulpisfoglia, and Lady Guuji. As Suzuran's cosplayer, the greatest challenge was actually the multiple tails behind me. Because of their immense fluffiness and heavy volume, walking and turning were exhausting, requiring my cosplay partners to help hold them between takes so they wouldn't drag on the ground and get dirty. But all that preparation was completely worthwhile—the final visual results far exceeded expectations.

There was quite a breeze on the day of the shoot, with cherry blossoms constantly drifting down, which made action captures tricky. The red umbrella prop was wonderful to use: when turning while holding it, the exact moment the skirt and tails fluttered together was captured masterfully by the photographer. Hugging that fox plushie also helped me instantly slip into character. In the entire series, what left the deepest impression on me were the interpersonal interactions: Vulpisfoglia gently adjusting my headpiece and collar felt so natural, just like the tender care between family members; Lady Guuji stood quietly watching on one side without complex posing. That unspoken chemistry truly made us feel the warmth of a family outing.

As a cosplayer, I believe understanding a character's emotional core is essential. This shoot was not only about recreating visual appearances, but also about portraying the emotional bonds between the characters. During shooting, we constantly adjusted our standing positions, exploring how leaning forward or turning sideways could keep the tails looking harmonious in frame, while studying petal-falling trajectories and lighting directions. The soft pink-and-white of cherry blossoms and the gentle tones of the kimonos, paired with the unique seasonal light, gave the raw shots an exceptionally clear, translucent texture. Instead of pursuing overly dramatic poses, we conveyed the story through eye contact and subtle gestures.

Heartfelt thanks to all the friends who shot this with me! Whether it was the exertion of lugging heavy wigs and costumes or the endless patience of trying angles repeatedly on site, everyone made this photo set exceptionally meaningful. Every photoshoot is a fresh journey. Bringing beloved characters into reality with harmonious partners and freezing those moments on camera is a truly magical feeling. Looking at the finished photos and recalling every detail from that day, I simply feel immense happiness from being together.
