The Babel team's Cosplay stage play performance on Day 2 of Shenzhen Anime Festival concluded smoothly, with the runner-up trophy and certificate in hand still feeling warm. The two-day schedule at Shenzhen Anime Festival was packed full; although exhausting, it was filled far more with excitement and satisfaction. The popularity of Shenzhen Anime Festival this year was even more booming than expected, with crowds surging through the halls, and the stage lighting and sound effects were remarkably solid, providing excellent conditions for our stage play presentation.

This time we brought a "Babel"-themed Cosplay stage play. This is a series I love very much, and everyone put a tremendous amount of thought into everything from script arrangement to blocking and choreography coordination. Stage plays differ from ordinary Convention photos in that they require genuine expressive power, blocking teamwork, and physical stamina. Especially after donning this full gear, one must not only guarantee accuracy to character design, but also ensure free mobility on stage. Fortunately, this costume design found a great balance between daily wearability and stage dynamic performance.

Regarding this look, I specifically chose a silver-white twin-tail wig paired with fluffy rabbit ears, creating high character recognition. For the costume, I opted for a black-and-white color-blocked tactical style filled with intricate metallic buckles and strap details. Taking it on and off required extra time, but once on stage, its structured silhouette and rich layering looked incredibly striking under stage lights. The over-the-knee black stockings visually elongated proportions, making the overall black-and-white character image even more distinct.

On the second day, we made time backstage to celebrate a simple birthday for "Shang Xuebao" in our team. Even though the convention schedule was rushed and everyone felt exhausted, seeing the cake brought out swept away the hardships of rehearsal in an instant of pure joy. This bond and warmth among cosplayers is one of the most mesmerizing parts of attending conventions.

Ultimately, our entire team took second place in the group competition at this year's Shenzhen Anime Festival. From the nervousness stepping onto the stage to the surprise when awards were announced, and down to the grounding feeling of holding the physical trophy and red certificate, this sense of accomplishment is unmatched by any individual Convention photos. The charm of stage performance lies in directly conveying the character and spirit to the audience below. Watching so many audience members holding up phones to film during those two days, and hearing everyone's applause at the curtain call, made every bit of effort feel thoroughly worthwhile.

The two-day itinerary at Shenzhen Anime Festival was extremely tight, and finishing a Cosplay stage play is truly addictive. Stepping into the character's skin and burning passion together on stage with everyone was a fantastic experience. Hardware facilities were great, and the host organizers provided strong support for the stage play. Nothing feels more exhilarating than giving your all on stage; in short, if there's another chance next time, I'll definitely come back to Shenzhen Anime Festival for another Cosplay stage play.
