My round-square face actually managed to blend into this squad of breathtaking visuals! Who would have dared to imagine? Good heavens, this is the most useful my face shape has ever been! Can someone please appreciate just how hilarious Photo 2 is? The way we investigated Madam Ch'en (Ch'en cosplay) was so unique, with everyone radiating a subtle, deadpan humor—hahahaha! Being able to do a group shoot with everyone made me feel so blessed! In particular, we set a record for the fastest group project ever: from the first day of shooting to finishing the retouching for the entire group took only two days! Two days!! I was genuinely shocked and will never forget it. We entered the studio that morning with seven characters in total—quite a large group. We had to coordinate blocking, swap props, and sync eye contact. Originally, we expected it to take forever, but everyone's chemistry was off the charts. The overall makeup, styling, and set design were exceptionally meticulous, adopting a vintage detective aesthetic with wooden furniture, oil paintings on the walls, and glowing stained glass windows that maxed out the atmosphere. Our costumes were unified with blazers, white shirts, and plaid skirts, along with various character concepts holding magnifying glasses, binoculars, and books. From a photography standpoint, lighting such an ensemble cast is notoriously difficult. Fortunately, the photographer used side lighting masterfully; for instance, in the Photo 1 close-up with the pink hair and round-rimmed glasses, the light sculpted facial contours perfectly with richly textured shadows—super flattering for a round-square face, making it arguably my most photogenic shoot ever. During the session, we brainstormed poses together. In Photo 2, everyone crowded around Madam Ch'en, leaning in close with magnifying glasses or staring intently through binoculars; Madam Ch'en barely dared to move, while the rest of us tried not to burst out laughing during the snapshots—that subtle comedic touch was absolute perfection. In Photo 3, Exusiai cosplay's plaid skirt paired with thigh-high black stockings cosplay was an instant eye-catcher in the vintage setting. The adorable styling of Bagpipe and Saileach, the book held by Istina, and May's playful charm all blended seamlessly into the overarching retro detective mystery mood. Delivering finished photos in two days was all thanks to the photographer's efficiency and the editor's blinding speed; retouching high-end edits for seven people in a day and a half is an immense workload. Yet everyone synchronized flawlessly—prop textures, wardrobe details, and movement blocking were aligned in advance, making the entire process extraordinarily smooth. Shooting with everyone was such a joy, and being able to shine in this talented team made it a truly fulfilling photoshoot experience.
