Dressed up in this kemonomimi girl's outfit, I brought out four massive fluffy tails and a fox-carrot plushie. Taking advantage of the beautiful spring weather, I began this cherry blossom outdoor scene photoshoot under the trees. This costume is a white and pink Japanese style cosplay piece (modified kimono), paired with a red and black obi and a blue and white checkered collar. The red rope tassels add a touch of liveliness to the entire outfit. The biggest challenge of the outdoor shoot was undoubtedly the giant fluffy tail props. While they greatly enhanced the character accuracy and visual impact, they also made navigating through the blossoms and posing much more difficult. To prevent the tails from blocking my body curves and the light on my face, my photographer @猫拒绝了你 and I kept adjusting the shooting angles. The stone steps, red lanterns, and vermilion wooden bridge on-site all served as excellent interactive backdrops. Holding a red oil-paper umbrella with white floral patterns or cradling the little fox plushie in my arms filled this Arknights Suzuran Cosplay photo set with a healing spring vibe. With cherry blossom branches as the foreground framing the figure, combined with the soft halo from a wide aperture, it created a style reminiscent of anime CG. Although the shooting process was a bit tough—having to keep the fluffy tails voluminous while managing the angle of the oil-paper umbrella and the direction of the light—seeing that gentle and serene atmosphere in the photos made all the exhaustion completely worth it. This shoot brought not only the romance of blooming cherry blossoms but also a unique 'clear sky after snow' themed ambiance. This brief moment of peace, spent with the flowers and the fox, was a beautiful immersive experience in itself.
