A great deal of thought went into the wardrobe details for this Qingxiao look from Wuthering Waves. The core garment is a modified Chinese-style dress in white and blue, piecing together a mandarin collar with cold-shoulder cutouts. The metallic accents from the collar down to the chest along with cyan-blue tassel ornaments were secured by hand to keep them from shifting during the shoot. The outer sheer stole features a gradient blue tone; its featherlight fabric gives it a fluid drape with even subtle steps or arm gestures. The wig was styled into a high updo with long framing side locks and softly curled ends, topped with translucent ice-crystal horn accessories and a delicate blue forehead motif, making the overall palette look ethereal and luminous under cool lighting.

The hero prop for the session was a transparent long sword crafted with a crystal-like finish. To align with the theme of distant misty clouds and the chime of the heart sword, the choreography featured sword-bearing postures and hand seals to channel her cool, sharp presence. To flatter the lines of the White stockings and high heels, the seated poses were carefully angled with crossed legs to elongate visual proportions across the composition. For the set, we arranged a wooden daybed, Chinese folding screens, and scholar's rockery, accented by an expansive sea of blue hydrangeas and frosted bare branches to build an icy, dreamlike indoor studio realm.

The lighting setup was meticulously balanced on the day of the shoot. Key lights illuminated both the character and the transparent sword to accentuate jacquard fabric highlights and prismatic prop refractions, while the backdrop was underexposed to bring out the depth of the floral layers and sheer fabrics. Because the costume incorporates abundant gossamer textiles, we explored several seated postures and arm gestures, continually adjusting the drape of the silk stole to prevent it from obstructing my line of sight or disrupting the overall silhouette. The shooting pace was brisk, aided greatly by thorough pre-production on hair, makeup, and props.

Post-processing unified the color grading toward cyan and deep blue, accentuating visual elements of ice, snow, and water while boosting contrast and saturation. Excessive skin smoothing was intentionally avoided to preserve natural skin texture and chiaroscuro fabric folds. This photo set marks a distinct departure from previous aesthetics—an adventurous fusion of character aura and atmospheric worldbuilding that fully visualizes Qingxiao in this dedicated setting.
