"May we meet again in a sober reality"—this quote became the main theme of this spring photoshoot. This set of photos was an attempt to break the dimensional wall. To restore the character's clear and lively charm under spring blossoms, the photographer and I discussed for a long time and finally decided to set the location on an outdoor street lined with full blooms. There was soft natural diffuse light, which prevented heavy direct sunlight from making the facial makeup look powdery, while allowing a large-aperture lens to gently blur the white blossoms and green leaves in the background, creating a dreamy atmosphere with plenty of breathing room.

Grooming the wig was one of the key focuses this time. The silver-white main tone combined with a large mint green gradient at the tips presented a visually rich temperature, paired with light, bouncy curls that made the overall appearance look soft and fresh. Regarding hair accessories, a wide dark gray headband was worn, with a black bow on the right side paired with a teal-blue feather hair ornament, adding a playful visual anchor to the overall styling. To make the eyes better fit the character, light purple contact lenses were selected, paired with translucent base makeup, soft pink eyes and cheeks, and orange-tinted lipstick—striving for subtraction in makeup to match that unpretentious brightness.

The costume chosen was a white-and-gray Sailor suit. The cropped jacket cut was very sleek, with double-breasted metallic gold buttons refracting a subtle texture under soft light, while the dark gray sailor collar made the upper body contour look more upright. The cuffs and collar both featured delicate white stripe contrasting designs. The lower body's gray, white, and yellow plaid pleated skirt rested just above the knees, which, paired with a slightly elevated pose, flattered leg lines wonderfully. Whether holding a bouquet or making a casual pointing gesture, the youthful vibe brought by this Sailor suit made it exceptionally easy to capture great shots in this Spring cosplay project.

In this set, props mainly utilized a pink-and-white bouquet wrapped in kraft paper, whose colors formed a visual balance of warm and cool tones with the mint green elements on the costume. During the shoot, I tried several different poses, such as lightly touching my collarbone in the first photo to draw in the camera, and the single-handed pointing composition in the second photo, which simulated a casual invitation gesture while showcasing body curves highlighted by the cropped jacket and short skirt. There was also the third photo reaching up to shade flower branches overhead; because the branches hung low, the photographer had to shoot slightly upward, accidentally capturing the most focused gaze under natural light.

My favorite is the fourth photo holding the skirt hem. This dynamic pose actually demands a lot from candid capture, requiring simultaneous attention to the force pinching the skirt hem, the tilt angle of the bouquet, and eye focus. Although outdoor shooting had a touch of chill that day, I persisted to shape better contours. While maintaining character traits, I also added my own expression, making this set not just a routine "taking pretty photos," but focusing more on the character's demeanor in this specific scene.

At the boundary where reality intersects the anime world, we completed this shoot. Hope this record of resting under the blossoms freezes that fresh, natural touch of spring into the frame of Anime-style photography.
