[Firefly Cosplay] Short-Lived Fireflies: Freezing the Precious Encounter

It has been a while since shooting this outdoor set, and sorting through my photos felt like the perfect opportunity to share them. This Firefly cosplay from Honkai: Star Rail captured the exact gentle mood I envisioned.

Preparing the look took considerable effort, particularly refining the wig's gradient transition from a silver-white hair color to mint green tips with fluffy layered bangs. Because long wigs tangle easily during outdoor shoots, keeping care spray on hand was essential to maintain a sleek, flowing texture. Her outfit features a teal uniform jacket paired with a white stand-collar shirt, a thin black-and-green tie, off-white shoulder panels with orange-red stitching, and metallic embossed gold buttons that catch warm ambient light. The deep blue headband with geometric triangular accents was secured with anti-slip linings to remain steady across multiple shot transitions.

Our locations spanned both indoor public transit and vibrant outdoor settings. Capturing close-ups inside the subway added a realistic, immersive touch under direct overhead lighting. The highlight shot, however, was framed against a red brick wall beside late-spring cherry blossoms. Hand-tousled hair caught in the breeze created a harmonious warm-and-cool contrast between pink petals and teal attire.
