I completed this set of photos at the Shenzhen Garden Expo Park on November 19th. This time, the collaboration shoot was done alongside the main Kafka cosplay photoshoot, using Guming's limited-edition cup, and the overall vibe matches the character well. The wig chosen is a purplish-red layered wig, with volumizing treatment done at the crown to fit the styling. The costume features a white jacket with delicate subtle patterns and silver thread piping, with collar and cuff details corresponding to the character's design. I did the entire makeup myself, elongating the eyebrows to bring out a touch of sharpness, with a soft red lip color that echoes the wig color, while pairing a green jade bangle with black gloves as a color-clashing accent.

The Garden Expo Park photography for ancient architecture yields high-quality photos very efficiently, and I especially love the corridors and moon gates. The first picture uses a round arch framing composition with the character placed in the center, giving a framed sense of stability. For the angle leaning against the pillar in Photo 2, it was afternoon, and the sunlight filtered through the leaves to cast light spots on my face; that snapshot moment with half-lowered eyes has a very shallow depth of field with a beautiful blur, highlighting the character's details in the frame. When shooting this casual cosplay, I was constantly thinking about how to make my expressions more relaxed. States like lying down looking at a phone or folding my hands over the wooden railing in Photos 3 and 4 express a sense of carelessness and a touch of laziness—you don't have to hold a stiff pose at all times, which instead reproduces another side of the character.

This kind of large-scale garden venue is actually a test of positioning, and the light shifts very quickly around three or four in the afternoon, so we had to finish the key scenes before the sun dipped too low. There were quite a few tourists at the Garden Expo Park that day as well, and we had to dodge passersby multiple times to grab a clean shot. Utilizing the collaboration cup as a prop, whether holding it in hand or placing it to the side, required no forced emphasis; letting it appear naturally in the frame added a touch of life's daily rhythm. Overall, through this Kafka cosplay photoshoot, I gained a deeper understanding of the character and thoroughly enjoyed the process of adjusting my body language to match the scenes and lighting every time.

Regarding that white-and-purple styled outfit, there were actually special considerations in material choices. The outer white shirt reflects a soft halo under the sunlight, and when paired with the inner black neck ornament and purple skirt, the weight distribution of the colors reaches a visual balance. The sunlight casts dappled tree shadows on the white walls; this kind of natural light photography acts as the best softbox, far more natural than any studio light. Therefore, during the shoot, I consciously looked for camera angles along the direction of the light, letting the light illuminate through the details of the hair strands to present a layered feel. The overall emotional undertone of this set isn't particularly expressive, but rather a soft composure with a sense of control. There's no need for excessive, large bodily movements; instead, eye contact and focus control are far more important. Leaning by the wooden pillars or sitting on stone benches to lightly pull at the collar—these moments carry a strong lifelike quality. Combined with that close-up featuring a white flower hair ornament on the side, I feel that calm, collected state represents this character quite accurately. This time, the hair, makeup, styling, and photography were basically all self-coordinated, including prop preparation and site scouting. Although Shenzhen in November is not as cold as the north, staying outdoors in thin clothing for a whole afternoon still takes quite a physical toll. During the shoot, it's also important to avoid the stiffness of staring directly at the camera; appropriately shifting the gaze away, looking at the ground, or looking at the phone in hand often yields a more relaxed state via these snapshots, and I feel a few pictures in this set caught this point perfectly.
