Bringing this Luo Tianyi Time-telling Bird look to life took plenty of dedication, from initial makeup trials to the final shutter click. The silver-white wig needed advance layered cutting, thinning out the bangs to achieve a clean, airy aesthetic. To stay faithful to the canon design, I selected vivid cyan cosmetic lenses and paired them with soft eye contouring to subtly elongate the eyes, aiming for a spirited, lively charm. The foundation was kept sheer and dewy, complemented by pale pink blush to accentuate a healthy, natural complexion.
The wardrobe centered on a pale blue Western-style dress crafted from a textile that gives off a delicate satin luster under studio lights. The garment boasts abundant ornate details: a deep navy ribbon bow at the bust serves as the primary visual anchor, crowned with white blossoms in the center and finished with white lace ruffles along the collar and cuffs. The skirt itself is engineered as a voluminous tiered puff dress, relying on a petticoat beneath to maintain structured fullness when seated. The colossal curved white wing ornaments on my back required meticulous angle adjustments on set—due to the material's high specularity, direct illumination had to be avoided in favor of a softbox combined with subtle side-rim backlighting. The lace choker and sapphire-accented drop earrings served as exquisite embellishments, tying the entire styling together.
Throughout the shoot, coordinating props with posing was equally vital. In my hands, I held a square pink gift box tied with pink satin ribbons, while matching ribbon streamers were scattered across the floor, introducing sweet pink accents to contrast against the dominant blue palette. For posing, I transitioned between kneeling with the gift box cradled in both hands, folding my hands gently across my chest, and lightly touching my cheek with one hand. Due to the expansive hemline, seated postures required fanning out the fabric folds smoothly to keep the edges looking clean and elegant. Framed against a pure blue backdrop, studio lighting had to remain exceptionally uniform to prevent harsh, distracting shadows.
Completing this photoshoot required considerable time, especially when fine-tuning the placement of the back accessories and the drapery of the skirt. Because the layered dress had noticeable weight, I had to pause periodically to touch up the wig and makeup, ensuring every single frame showcased peak visual condition. I truly adore this serene color palette and tried to immerse myself fully in its quiet, tranquil ambiance. These photos record this creative milestone, and I sincerely hope you all enjoy this styling.
