[Luo Tianyi Cosplay] Summer Outdoor Camping Style: Freezing the Perfect Summer in Time

This summer-exclusive Luo Tianyi cosplay styling took quite a bit of careful thought from preparation to the final photos. First, regarding the makeup and hair: to complement the silver-gray hair color and refreshing summer feel, green contact lenses were chosen this time, accented with a subtle pink blend and the signature heart mark at the corner of the eyes, making the overall gaze look more expressive and vibrant. For the wig styling, the ahoge on top and long twin tails on the sides were the key restoration focus; the roots were volumized at the base, paired with yellow star hair clips and fluffy white flower hair accessories on both sides to avoid the heavy feel of a monochrome wig. The thick blue-framed sunglasses resting on top of the head not only added a highlight to the outfit, but also served as a practical prop under strong outdoor light, allowing makeup details to be displayed even more clearly.

In terms of clothing selection, this bright yellow off-the-shoulder ruffle short-sleeve top is a summer outfit piece that flatters skin tone immensely. The neckline design matched the character's classic orange-and-blue striped bow, while a beaded necklace and delicate chain around the neck added richness to the layering. The lower half was paired with fitted dark blue denim shorts and a thin yellow belt; the overall color palette was bright and lively, preserving strong 2D character traits while blending seamlessly into the wearability of daily outdoor activities. During the shoot, I specifically wore matching light blue nail polish—little details like this made the overall visual feel much more complete when raising a hand to touch the hair tips.

The location choice for this photo set fit the "summer" theme remarkably well. We picked a spot featuring green lawns, white camping tents, wooden tables and chairs, and a lakeside pool. Photos 1 and 2 were shot beside the white tent by the lawn, where high and low camera angles presented entirely different dynamics; I personally prefer the relaxed hands-on-hips pose in photo 2. In photo 3, I sat on a wooden platform interacting with local purple flower bushes, where the natural draped look and soft light created a very serene feel. My top choice for the cover image is the fourth photo, sitting on an outdoor folding chair with shimmering water, distant green trees, and lawns behind me. Under relatively strong backlight, the photographer's fill light preserved the vibrant colors of the wig and outfit beautifully, while holding the sunglasses and long hair with both hands added great depth to the composition.

Stepping into nature wearing meticulously prepared outfits is always a great way to relieve stress. For Outdoor photography sets like this, the photographer worked with me to find various lighting angles—the moments when gentle breezes brushed through my hair and clothes, especially by the water and wooden boardwalk, felt incredibly natural. I didn't force overly complex poses, choosing instead to enjoy the summer afternoon while capturing the fusion of my authentic self and the character's atmosphere through the camera lens. Honestly, beyond the spiritual connection a character brings, what I enjoy most about cosplaying is creating a tiny world at a specific time and place through costume and makeup. Once wearing this outfit, the long silver hair felt as though it carried an airy lightness; whether sitting down to fix my hair or standing while holding the sunglasses, I could slip into character immediately. The photoshoot experience was wonderful—the sunlight, water reflections, green grass, and blooming flowers captured in the photos made me feel that this summer was indeed fulfilling and perfect.
