[Lucia cosplay] The blue-haired elf in Zenless Zone Zero, dual presentation at the convention and underground garage

Slipping into this Lucia cosplay outfit from Zenless Zone Zero, I focused primarily on the visual restoration of the light blue wig, elf ear prosthetics, and green contact lenses. Black leather straps, a teal inner layer, and metal fasteners combine to form the visual focal point of this look. Though the overall structure appears lightweight, once holding that long-handled staff prop, body weight distribution requires slight adjustments to free up hands for clicking the shutter.

During the shoot at the convention venue, spacious hall lighting recorded the character's multi-layered accessories, necklaces, and staff details very clearly. The metallic long prop staff, with the gold hollowed ring on top and the purplish-blue cube attachment, reflected rich textures under light sources, echoing well with the geometric pattern lining on the outfit. The straight-from-camera front view in photo 3 perfectly framed the holding angle of the prop, crisscross straps of the outfit, and collarbone lines within the shot, making it ideal as a reference photo to showcase the overall styling for Convention photos.

Subsequently, we moved the shoot location to the underground parking garage. The ambient light here was very harsh, with overhead white light pointing directly down and a dim overall atmosphere. In a space with such strong contrast between light and dark, I tried adding small elements of "post-work fatigue" or "battle residue"—specifically the mud smudges rubbed onto my arms, thighs, and clothing. These realistic smudges didn't ruin the original costume texture, but instead brought a gritty, raw vibe. Convex safety mirrors in the underground parking garage provided great convenience for Underground parking garage photography full-body shots; the reflected image possessed great tension under distorted stretching. Half-squatting or standing with knees slightly bent while gripping the staff captured a casual, candid feel that fused wildness and refinement wonderfully.

Props played a crucial role in this shoot. The weight balance of this long staff was quite good; close-up shots revealed solid craftsmanship in the silver metal pole and golden rings, which reflected light with the help of flashlights or speedlights, enhancing visual layering. As for the wig, to prevent bangs from blocking line of sight, I frequently adjusted them during shoot breaks; the light blue hair color paired with elf ears boasted high recognition on site.

From bright exhibition hall lighting to the dim underground parking garage, this shoot span was primarily designed to offer two distinct visual styles for the same outfit: one being a bright and clean convention status, and the other a story-driven, low-key battle-damaged status. During location transitions outdoors, quite a few passersby glanced over; feeling observed is also part of Casual cosplay outside conventions. Shooting outdoors all day left red marks on my shoulders from the black leather straps, but seeing the natural lighting contrast and crisp styling details in the final shots made every effort feel completely worth it. This set of photos records her authentic post-work state—capable of maintaining elegance in public while leaving behind striking frames with subtle mud smudges in dark corners.
