Many people always carry contempt because the character is small, but actually, in the Dead or Alive IP, she can completely teach you a lesson relying on her agile movements and explosive power. For this shoot at the exhibition venue, I also wanted to reproduce that playful yet not-to-be-underestimated aura.

Let's talk about the costume and styling first; the texture of this outfit really tests the details of the pairing. The black-dominant tight short outfit features white wide ruffles spliced at the elbows, which, combined with the long black gloves with a patent leather texture, forms a very distinct black-and-white contrast visually. The wrist section also features a leather strap design that looks clean for hand movements once tightened. What I'm most satisfied with is the lower body base; the black leg rings at the thighs paired with white lace piping, combined with black stockings, offers a just-right texture under the bright venue lighting at the live convention.

This pair of black platform combat boots is also a plus for the entire look. From the boot shaft to the sole, it features multiple belt buckle decorations. The most eye-catching part is that bright red stripe design on the heel and sole, which looks exceptionally beautiful under the reflections of the white light spots on the exhibition hall floor; stepping firmly onto the ground offers a real sense of security from the grip.

As for the hair, the golden twin-tails are paired with two black ribbon ties. During photography, we happened to encounter a draft inside the venue that brought a natural arc to the long hair; this sense of motion indeed required shooting a few more times to catch the most perfect angle. The makeup section specifically enhanced the eye contours to make the gaze look more penetrating, maintaining a soft yet focused demeanor.

The background of today's shooting venue is an immensely broad convention hall, with the top fully arranged with an array of white illumination lights. The photographer, Xiao Tingbo, utilized a large aperture to turn the background into a beautiful bokeh effect, where that dark high-altitude ceiling and the light array happened to outline the silhouette of the main subject. The floor consists of highly reflective dark tiles, which also work excellently for creating reflection effects, giving a false illusion of being inside a sci-fi venue.

But to be perfectly honest, although this set looks lightweight, the weight of the boots and the limitations of the platform soles are actually quite a test of physical strength when walking around the exhibition hall for a full day. Because of frequently adjusting standing postures and looking-back actions, even if the movements seem simple, maintaining a straight backline and turning the head forcefully requires core strength. Fortunately, the final photo results are stunning enough, entirely matching the adjustments made during costume fittings and blocking.

As a convention photo, it doesn't have that heavy feeling of deliberate lighting from a studio shoot, but rather documents the authentic atmosphere of the convention live site. This styling itself carries a touch of techwear style and 2D combat outfit characteristics; combined with the black straps and patent leather elements, it easily stands out on camera. From the front to looking back, from full body to details, the angle of release this time is very comprehensive, maximizing the display of the character's inherent charm. Whether it's to commemorate the journey of this convention or serve as a satisfying work in my own Cosplay photography career, I feel this set of images can beautifully express the character's traits and leave behind a sufficiently vivid visual memory.
