This set of bunny girl convention photo shots for Marin Kitagawa was taken in a quiet corner of the expo hall, backed neatly by a ceiling dressed in regular circular pendant lights. The outfit featured black patent leather bodysuits and shorts, paired with black fishnet stockings and glossy stiletto high heels. Patent leather offers little stretch, but the deep V-neckline framed body contours beautifully. The white cuffs and black bow tie were securely fastened and easy to maintain, yet the wig—being exceptionally long and pale pink—tangled easily, requiring gentle airflow from a hair dryer to capture that floating, airy motion. The prop pistol was lightweight molded plastic, but holding it demanded firm pressure to project real presence. Wearing fishnet stockings created striking leg lines, though the delicate mesh snags easily and demanded utmost caution when putting it on. Although the heels exerted immense pressure on my ankles, seeing the raw frames proved that standing through it was entirely worthwhile. While I had prepared alternative fabrics, black patent leather ultimately best matched the character's dangerous, seductive aura. For makeup, pink eyeshadow accented with subtle red highlights and elongated false lashes remained faithful to her anime eye styling; because we balanced backlighting with side lighting, facial shadows ran deep, requiring frequent powder touch-ups. The photographer continuously adjusted exposure parameters to prevent highlight blowout from the bright ceiling fixtures, dropping the ISO accordingly. When bending or spinning, I had to be vigilant so the stilettos wouldn't catch on the fishnet stockings, demanding fluid yet cautious muscular control. Every leg lift required fully pointing the toes so the diamond weave of the fishnets stood out sharply. Shooting in a convention hallway meant pausing between passing attendees to fire the shutter—a spontaneous, dynamic rhythm. The final quality rivaled studio portraits while retaining genuine vitality. The hall was slightly stuffy, and the heels squeezed my toes, but taking quick breaks to flex my feet kept the lines sharp. Holding the gun slightly relaxed avoided stiffness, capturing that effortlessly captivating, perilous presence. Good stamina and great teamwork made most poses click on the first take, leaving only the dynamic hair flips for rapid burst shots.
