Sorting through the Cosplay photo sharing from August 16th at Genshin Impact Fes—this convention journey is definitely worth documenting properly. During the morning, I was too shy to approach anyone, simply admiring from afar the high-quality costumes and exquisite makeup of fellow creators throughout the hall. It wasn't until the afternoon that I finally worked up the courage and went on a frenzy of Taking photos with cosplayers at conventions. The entire hall was packed with familiar old friends and delightful surprises; feeling everyone's immense passion for Genshin Impact on-site was truly wonderful. Although the lighting was somewhat chaotic, everyone was great at finding flattering angles, resulting in fantastic shots. Putting these photos together today is partly so everyone can claim their pictures, and partly as a cherished keepsake for myself.
Speaking of the happiest moment while Taking photos with cosplayers at conventions, it was definitely meeting the Tartaglia (Childe) cosplayer! His cosplay was remarkably faithful—even a mask couldn't conceal his dashing charm—and he was exceptionally kind, not only taking great photos together but also gifting me a freebie Childe acrylic standee. The design and print quality of that standee are exquisite, with a satisfying heft in hand; I adore it so much, thank you sincerely! Furthermore, the handmade non-woven fabric Nilou freebie touched my heart deeply. The hall was so noisy at the time, and my energy was near empty after a full day, so I could only offer a rushed thank-you. But upon unwrapping it on my desk at home, I realized how much love went into that craft: the shaping was flawless, packed with details, and the color coordination was stunning. Looking at it just warms my heart. I really hope to connect with the kind soul who gave me that felt craft so I can express my deepest gratitude once more.
The variety of indie merch and fan crafts at conventions is simply breathtaking, each piece saturated with the creator's devotion. Seeing everyone light up over these little treasures makes all the exhaustion completely worthwhile. Although running around all day in contact lenses left my eyes dry and my legs completely sore, my spirit felt immensely fulfilled. The collaborative photo taking with everyone was also incredibly professional; by supporting each other, everyone brought out the authentic soul of their characters, turning the venue into a massive reunion of kindred spirits.
Huge thanks to everyone who joined me in Taking photos with cosplayers at conventions, and thanks to every kind soul distributing freebies—I felt all your heart and dedication. Genshin Impact Fes is not merely a gaming expo; it is a grand stage where people unite through shared passion, and being able to celebrate this love with so many fellow travelers is pure bliss. I will definitely return to Genshin Impact Fes next year, hoping to meet even more creators and gather many more beautiful memories through Cosplay photo sharing!
