[Sigewinne Cosplay] The Gap Moe in Genshin Impact: A Day at the Aquarium with a Tranquilizer Gun

For this Genshin Impact Sigewinne cosplay photoshoot, I specially chose Nanjing Underwater World as our outdoor location. The transparent underwater light beautifully emphasizes the cleanliness of the character's blue-and-white color scheme.

The most exciting part about playing this character is her naturally dark gap moe. As I mentioned in my post, she is absolutely fascinated by the flexibility of human hands. Whether she's cutting bandages, holding a syringe, or gripping a tranquilizer gun, it oozes a professional yet amusingly cute vibe. During the shoot, I deliberately tried to channel this slightly dark demeanor while holding the cylindrical prop. Although it looks like a toy firework tube, setting-wise, it's a device that combines healing with non-lethal subdual methods. In that serene underwater environment, capturing her soft, cute exterior alongside her calm, collected inner self required much more thought in adjusting my gaze and posture than simply striking a cute pose.

I am highly satisfied with the fidelity of this look. The light blue-and-purple gradient twin tails look exceptionally soft under the blue light of the aquarium background. The small beast-ear headpiece is delicate and cute, matching the main color palette of teal, white, and blue, adorned with pink bows and gold trim, giving off an overall vibe of a science lab uniform blended with fairy tale elements. The lower half features lightweight white tights, paired with the fluffy plush tail on the back. While walking and turning in the narrow glass tunnel, the swaying of the tail added a touch of life to the static poses, staying truer to the character's movement habits.

During the actual shoot, we experimented with several different framing styles. The first few photos were taken inside the underwater tunnel, where the ripples and strong light refracted by the water surface overhead formed a natural, dreamy filter. However, the biggest challenge was also here: the aquarium glass caused severe reflections, and with the heavy weekend foot traffic, it took quite some effort to find clean shooting angles free from passersby's reflections. Fortunately, the final results are satisfying.

The most outstanding photo of this set is actually the silhouette shot in front of the jellyfish tank. In the massive elliptical tank, the jellyfish emitted a ghostly blue glow with a hint of subtle yellow, creating a stark contrast of light and dark against the entirely dark exhibition hall. Standing in front of the tank with my back to the camera, I didn't need to force an expression; the serenity of the image itself was already packed with storytelling, perfectly blending the character's unique eccentricity with the sacred vibe of the ocean. Aquarium photography naturally brings a cool tone, making it ideal for this kind of anime cosplay style.

Huge thanks to Nanjing Underwater World for providing this excellent venue, allowing me to complete this Genshin Impact Sigewinne photoshoot amidst the flowing water and schools of fish. Today was a completely immersive shooting experience. In a healing yet slightly mysterious underwater world, freezing the charm of different facets of the character through the lens brings a massive sense of achievement.
