The blue-and-white vintage dress featured a multi-layered ruffled design with a matching blue bow tied at the neck, which stands as the character's most iconic attire element.

The scene arrangement this time was also extraordinarily distinctive. The background featured not only giant mushroom props but also massive playing card character backboards painted with spades, instantly filling the space with a whimsical, eccentric atmosphere. The tea table in front was covered with colorful dessert props—red-and-white strawberry blueberry layer cakes, green matcha cakes, and multi-tiered trays displaying macarons and various small treats, paired with delicate teapots and cups bearing floral patterns, truly making one feel transported into a grand party. We spent a lot of effort arranging props to achieve color balance, ensuring each item served as a tasteful accent without overpowering the main subject.

During shooting, interacting naturally with these exquisite props was key. For example, using a cake fork in a tasting motion, holding an engraved teapot to concentrate on pouring tea, or cradling a cup to sip with a biscuit—all needed to feel light and natural before the lens. Because the dress carried significant volume, every adjustment in sitting or standing required attention to ruffle directions to maintain crispness and dimension. Under the photographer's skillful guidance, I tried various angles and expressions, from curious glances to gentle smiles, hoping to convey that relaxed, cozy, yet subtly mysterious mood of the dreamland. Studio lighting was dialed in perfectly; soft light falling across face and skirt made skin appear fair and translucent while bringing out crisp prop textures.

Every time I undertake a themed cosplay shoot with such strong fairytale vibes, it proves to be a marvelous experience. Compared to more realistic works, this Alice in Dreamland cosplay set carries an added dimension of fantasy and theatricality. Mastering this makeup and attire requires not only a personal understanding of the character, but also releasing enough infectious charm and immersive presence before the camera to convince viewers that the scene before them is a magical fairytale world. Post-processing was also handled just right, preserving original colors while enhancing dreamlike softness.
