For summer location shoots, it needs to be sufficiently refreshing visually. This time, the location was chosen at a beach with extremely high transparency. Paired with this long light-green hair and a straw hat, I hope to present a cooling sensation that perfectly matches the summer temperature. The wet-through look of the white T-shirt floating on the water surface was the focus of this shoot. After being soaked by seawater, the fabric clings to the body's curves, and the natural light and shadow create a contrast of light and dark on the cloth, which is more authentic than any post-processing rendering. To maintain the straw hat's shape in the wind while preventing the light-colored hair from looking messy after being wet by seawater, I made quite a few styling preparations before setting out.

The shooting process went surprisingly smoothly because the morning light was very soft, and the seawater showed a deep blue-green color, which beautifully complemented this black and white outfit. Using the swim sleeves as a prop was a rather spontaneous decision; they formed a very comfortable color transition with the white top and the blue seawater. Although summer location shoots can be a bit hard, stepping into the cool shallows and feeling the waves washing over my feet was truly stress-relieving. If anyone wants to shoot a similar style, I suggest checking the wet effect of the clothing material in advance; white pure cotton or sheer fabrics have the best transparency after entering the water, and pairing them with a matching-color swimsuit is the safest option. At the same time, remember to remind yourself to apply sunscreen, as staying in the water for too long makes UV reflection even stronger.

Every location shoot is an interaction with nature. This set of photos captures not only the recreation of the character but also the scent of the summer sea breeze and the temperature of the seawater washing over the ankles. Choosing a more relaxed way to interpret a character—taking off cumbersome, heavy accessories and using the most basic styling to interact with the real environment—actually leaves a different kind of memory. This attempt has given me more new ideas for outdoor Beach photography. Next time, I might challenge more complex dynamic snapshots. Summer is long, and beautiful scenery should be recorded while the sun shines brightly.
