This time, I am bringing you the Tactical Maid look of Mihara from GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE. The costume design for this character is highly layered, combining the soft elements of a conventional maid outfit with the sharp lines of combat gear. I chose to recreate this look because she adds a unique tactical sense to an otherwise cute and sweet style, and this contrast is highly appealing to me.

First, let's talk about the wig—this deep purple long hair with straight bangs is the soul of the outfit. To achieve the natural drape and gloss seen in the photos, I spent a considerable amount of time combing and styling it before the shoot, ensuring that the curves of the bangs and sideburns perfectly framed my face, presenting the character's signature clean and sharp look. The white ruffled headpiece on top of the head carries clear uniform characteristics, and along with the vibrant red rose at the neckline, it creates a powerful visual focal point in terms of color.

The main body of the clothing uses a high-gloss black faux leather material, and this top requires a very demanding silhouette fit. During the shoot, this material reflects a large amount of ambient light, so the lighting technician made many adjustments when arranging the light sources, aiming to highlight the texture of the leather surface without creating overexposed reflection spots. The white ruffles at the cuffs and waist, as well as the white apron on the skirt, bring the iconic elements of a maid outfit, forming a clean and sharp contrast with the black main body.

The details cannot be overlooked either; the black collar strap on the neck, the metal chains on the chest, and the small white skull pouch at the waist are all crucial elements for balancing the entire look. The lower body is paired with Black garter stockings, and the metal belt buckles on the legs reinforce the character's combat attributes while adding a touch of cool handsomeness to the overall outfit.

My condition on the day of the shoot was actually very good. The sofa featured a classical European carved style, and its dark-toned fabric pattern created an effect that was both harmonious and complementary with the black-and-white outfit. The photographer suggested that I try different sitting poses to capture the character's demeanor, and we ultimately chose this photo where I am slightly relaxed, resting my chin on one hand. I believe this state, bridging the gap between combat readiness and leisure, perfectly fits the cold, elegant, and composed impression Mihara leaves on players. I tried to add small details to my hand movements, such as the natural curling of the fingers and a focused gaze looking straight into the camera.

For a leather outfit like this, the wearing comfort is admittedly limited. Because the material is not breathable, sweating is inevitable after a few hours of Cosplay photography, but it's a necessary sacrifice for the perfect visual effect. When preparing this kind of combat-style maid outfit, I usually pay closer attention to the smoothness of the lines, ensuring that the clothing doesn't develop unwanted wrinkles. Therefore, whether it's the shaping before the shoot or the adjustments during the process, immense patience is required. The chosen sitting pose effectively showcases the costume details, the leg lines, and the layering of the overall look, which successfully digs out another facet of the character's personality.

This design, which mixes cute elements with hardcore tactical styles, really tests a tailor's craftsmanship in garment production. Especially with this glossy material, if the density and tension of the sewing machine stitching are not precise enough, it can easily lead to wrinkling and deformation. Seeing how clean and sharp the final product turned out, I am immensely grateful for the assistance of the support team. Every time I complete a look with such a high level of accurate recreation, I feel it is a test of my own aesthetics and hands-on skills. Being able to confidently present it to the audience provides the very sense of achievement that motivates me to keep doing cosplay, and through this process, I constantly feel the powerful charm of the character itself.
