To recreate the character faithfully, I styled the light-blue wig in advance and refined the hairline details; paired with vibrant blue contact lenses, the visual look was wonderfully luminous and translucent under direct sunlight. The wardrobe styling required great attention to detail—an outer blue-and-white striped sporty jacket layered over a black bikini top, with white ruffled apron trims contrasting crisply against the black Swimsuit. A black choker with metallic pendants at the neck accentuated her spirited personality. The custom red starfish prop in hand created a striking color pop while weaving narrative storytelling into each gesture.
The trickiest part of the shoot was capturing the split-second splash of kicking up water. To freeze the water droplets in their most beautiful arc, I repeatedly kicked the pool water, pointing my toes and extending my ankles to showcase sleek leg lines. Refractions and ripples in the water presented a challenge for the photographer; we tested multiple camera angles to nail compositions that captured both flattering leg contours and natural facial expressions in this Cosplay photography set. Being in the water meant makeup longevity was essential, especially waterproof base prep. During breaks, I checked the monitor to ensure the folds of the blue-and-white jacket looked organic and the bikini straps stayed securely aligned, keeping her playful, agile energy vibrant.
