This custom Oriental female ghost look has finally come to life. It specifically selects the design elements of the character "Mio" from Arknights, with the core intent to express that cold, grim, and eerie yet gorgeous temperament. To restore the visual atmosphere constructed by the artist in P2, I drew inspiration from the perspective relationships of the drawing and the high-contrast red and black background for the overall composition. In terms of lighting, besides the main front light, side-backlighting was added to outline the metallic beads on the headpiece and the layers of the wig's edges. The "flower eye" on the crown of the head and the dangling pearl chains on both sides were made into physical props. Although they carry some weight when worn, they truly anchored the visual center of the entire head. The safe prop knife held in the mouth presented the sharpness of a cold weapon under the reflection of light and shadow. The black-and-white color-blocking of the costume and the wide fabric wrap around the waist were tightened and adjusted multiple times. To prevent the wide side sleeves from looking bulky, a stiff lining was added inside. The Japanese style cosplay clothing combined with the concept of eastern monsters uses red smudging at the outer corners of the eyes and a dark lip makeup to reinforce the character's "non-human" attributes, while the gaze was intentionally controlled to be a bit more relaxed to match the slightly disdainful emotion of the original art. During the indoor studio shoot, the choice of a red background was crucial; it echoed the illustration backdrop while amplifying the character's sense of mystery. The long sword slung across the back was also hand-painted, with the wrapping on the hilt and the color scheme of the tassel matching the setting as closely as possible. A lot of effort went into the props, makeup, and styling this time. From trimming the wig layers to adjusting the proportions of the clothes, everything was done to make that sharp yet somewhat lazy vitality from the 2D illustration come alive in a real God-tier cosplay photo.
