This fan-made Venti maid outfit has a wonderful heft to it, especially with the large bow in the back and the white lace apron at the waist. The overall black-and-white color palette, combined with the headpiece and the teal highlights on the wig, perfectly captures Venti's traits in Genshin Impact. The ahoge on top of the wig and the horn accessories on both sides photographed beautifully, though styling them took some time, mainly to ensure the teal ends were smooth and frizz-free. To match this frontal expression, I specifically wore green contacts. I kept the makeup fairly light, subtly winging the eyeliner upward at the outer corners to look more spirited and harmonize with the clean blue sky in the background.

The sun was blazing on the day of the shoot. Especially when capturing the third backlit back-view shot, the sunlight filtered through the hair strands and onto the costume's ruffles, creating an exquisitely translucent texture. The great thing about this costume is that its silhouette flatters the waistline nicely, with well-crafted layering in the skirt hem. To echo his line "Give me some apple cider," I even prepared a serving tray prop. In terms of posing, facing forward with a hand on the hip while holding the tray looked dignified, while leaning forward while seated conveyed a relaxed, playfully teasing vibe. The costume was very comfortable to wear overall, though the headpiece and back bow tend to sway in strong outdoor winds if not firmly pinned down.

The defining trait of a maid outfit is its abundant pleats and lace, which naturally enhances light reflection, so in post-processing, I preserved a strong backlit atmosphere. Overall, the shoot was a joyful experience, faithfully capturing both the fabric quality and the character's free, breezy essence. Of course, maintaining that precise forward-leaning posture took quite a toll on my lower back and left me a bit tired, but getting such satisfying photos made it totally worthwhile. As for the black-and-white color scheme and white apron details, aside from requiring careful maintenance, the outfit was generally easy to wear. Completing this set also gave me a better grasp of channeling the 2D character's vibe. If I cosplay this look again in the future, I might try adding apple cider props in the foreground to create an even richer atmosphere.
