[Arknights Dusk cosplay] Dynamic Moments Captured in the Freezing Snow Mountain Wind

This set of Arknights Dusk cosplay official photos was shot at the Descent of the Snow Mountain 1101 venue during the 2025 Thank-You Celebration. It was extremely windy and freezing cold at the time. Wanting to showcase the character's cool, aloof presence fused with a sword-drawn aura, we deliberately chose a combination of high shutter speed and slow-shutter panning in our photography, striving to capture the dynamic motion blur of swinging the blade in Action photography.

In terms of costume preparation, the red-and-white outfit was striking amidst the snow and wind. The moment the cyan-highlighted wig fluttered in the breeze, paired with the red-and-gold patterned weapon in hand, imbued the entire frame with great tension. For makeup and styling, sharp and clean brows and eyes were emphasized to make the gaze appear firmer and more resolute.

Because the movements were broad, posing during the shoot was physically demanding, and the weapon's weight required careful control over the center of gravity. This particular shot caught the exact moment the wind lifted my hair; combined with the cool-toned lighting on set, the contrast between red and cyan was spot on. Many thanks to photographer Yansi ooo for patiently guiding my poses and framing, braving the freezing wind through repeated angle adjustments to achieve this visual impact. The shooting conditions were honestly tough with heavy blowing sand around the venue, so we put considerable effort into the details to keep the frame clean.

This look was also an attempt I was thoroughly satisfied with. In our dynamic action capture, swinging the weapon with broad arcs generated motion trailing, adding a wuxia flair and fierce sharpness to the composition. Constantly refining my posture ensured the subject remained at the center while projecting a commanding aura. Though exhausting throughout, seeing the resulting light, shadow, and texture made everything completely worth it. This shoot gave me a deeper understanding of Dusk and enriched my experience with action photography.
