Bringing out the staff from three years ago to shoot Eyjafjalla, I realized it had basically turned into a rusted relic. Looking back at 2023 when I shot the character for the very first time, I was incredibly green—stiff in posture, lacking expression control—and those old photos truly feel like dark history now. Returning to the Caster Sheep after three years, my mindset is completely different; my command before the lens and understanding of the character have matured significantly. Yesterday, we shot various skins of the sheep, exploring both studio setups and outdoor locations. The first set in the studio utilized cloud props to cultivate an airy, dreamlike atmosphere, coordinated with pink and brown plush sheep dolls. The second set moved outdoors onto a wooden terrace backed by lush, verdant woods, where the red ribbon coiled around the staff under natural daylight delivered intense visual impact. The wig styling stayed much truer to the original design this time, and the mounting method for the sheep horns was improved so they stayed firmly anchored all day without slipping. Although the prop from three years ago had rusted, holding it actually added a rich sense of time and nostalgia. Garment details—such as the cuffs and the black leggings paired with brown lace-up boots—were repeatedly calibrated. What I'm sharing now are just behind-the-scenes teasers; the official photos are still with the retoucher. Aiming to capture different facets of little sheep for her birthday celebration, the non-stop hustle over recent days was exhausting, yet seeing the frames made every moment worthwhile. Sharing these teasers today, hoping everything wraps smoothly in time for the birthday celebration!
