This set of Wuthering Waves Hsin cosplay feature photos is finally meeting everyone. To faithfully recreate Hsin's unique temperament—which is both lazy and a bit sly—we put a lot of effort into the costume, makeup, and props. Let's talk about this outfit first: the main body featuring a red and black color scheme has a very strong visual impact, and the splicing of dark patterns on the black part and red glossy material looks full of texture under the lights. The sapphire accessory and golden tassels on the chest add a sense of grandeur to the overall styling. The wig part was styled by myself through trimming and teasing piece by piece. That pair of huge plush animal ears on top of the head has their inner sides dyed dark blue; to make them look more natural and fluffy, I used quite a bit of hairspray and setting spray, and wearing them on the head actually carries quite a bit of weight.
In terms of makeup, the upturned red eyeshadow at the outer corners of the eyes and the red mark on the forehead are the soul of this character. Paired with red contact lenses, that enchanting feel in the gaze instantly comes out. To better fit the fox demon setting, I also specially did long, pointed manicures, which not only added to the details but also made holding that slender black pipe prop feel much more atmospheric.
This studio shoot was chosen at Ruyuan Pictures Photography Studio, and the scene arrangement was truly stunning. The dark carved wooden window lattices, the paper lanterns emitting warm light, and the thick white plush mat spread underneath me perfectly matched the character's noble yet slightly lazy atmosphere. During the shoot, I tried many leaning and semi-lying poses, relaxing my body as much as possible, using the white plush mat and the red skirt hem to form a strong color contrast to highlight the layering of the frame. The photographer's lighting was also amazing; the main light source made the skin translucent and fair, while the side fill light nicely outlined the body lines and the three-dimensional feel of the costume. For a few close-up shots, I added expressions of sticking out my tongue and slightly tilting my head up, hoping to vividly display Hsin's playful yet dangerously charming traits. In short, I thoroughly enjoyed every detail from preparation to shooting this time, and I hope to present this set of cosplay works with a unique oriental fantasy charm completely to everyone.
