This finished cosplay photo set of Kamisato Ayaka's Confession Overture from Genshin Impact is finally all organized. From initial costume preparation to the final shoot, the entire journey was filled with challenges and joy. The design of this outfit is exceptionally refined, grounded in pure white and translucent light blue tones, weaving together generous amounts of lace, ruffles, and sheer tulle fabrics. To restore the character's cool yet gentle grace, I specifically selected a silver-white wig with blunt bangs, delicately accented on both sides with blue ribbon bows, while the floral headdress on top and the white veil trailing behind significantly enriched the overall layered dimension. In makeup, the primary focus was on the expressive sparkle of the eyes: pairing light blue contact lenses with softly blended pink eyeshadow made the gaze appear both tender and full of narrative depth.

The gear used for this shoot was a Fujifilm X-S10 paired with a fast 27mm f/1.2 prime lens. This combination demonstrated tremendous advantages for indoor shooting; the f/1.2 aperture delivered an ultra-shallow depth of field and creamy, soft bokeh that effortlessly separated the subject from the surrounding background of white blossoms and dry branches, bathing the overall composition in a dreamlike cool-toned ambiance. The photographer, Niu Niu, handled lighting with utmost professionalism, utilizing soft natural light and reflectors to render skin tones porcelain-pale and radiant while preserving the subtle tactile textures of the fabric.

Regarding posing and emotional nuance, given the theme of Confession Overture, I needed to project a reserved, expectant, yet subtly bashful disposition before the lens. Throughout the shoot, I continuously adjusted my posture—dropping my shoulders to elongate the neckline and keeping hand gestures gentle and light, such as softly cradling blossoms in Photo 1 or leaning gracefully against the vintage white picture frame in Photo 2. It is particularly worth mentioning that the leaning pose in Photo 2 not only showcased the voluminous fluffiness of the skirt hem, but also naturally flattered the lines of the legs encased in over-the-knee White stockings; combined with intentional gaze direction, it infused an alluring touch of languid elegance into the frame. The pairing of the long White stockings with the lace-trimmed skirt hem beautifully segmented visual proportions, making the complete styling look far more exquisite.

In post-processing, Niu Niu deliberately preserved bright, cool tones to emphasize the crisp purity of ice blue, which resonates flawlessly with Kamisato Ayaka's Cryo element. The set avoided over-filtering, relying instead on nuanced micro-adjustments to color temperature and contrast to maximally recreate the tranquil and pristine atmosphere on set. Every frame underwent thoughtful deliberation from composition to lighting, culminating in these three works presented to you today. I hope through this set, everyone can feel the character's gentleness and quiet resolve in that singular moment.
