[Sandrone Cosplay] To my lovely Clockwork Princess, the girl who deconstructs all logic. Standing amidst the European-style long corridors under the night sky, I truly felt the heavy sense of refinement of this costume. As a Genshin Impact coser, challenging such a detail-heavy character is always highly fulfilling.

For the costume, those golden totem decorations on the chest and waist were of utmost priority. To restore that atmosphere of being both mechanical and elegant, I utilized multi-layered EVA cutting and heat-shrink sheets fine-tuning, supplemented by matte gold and silver spray paint and manual line tracing, ensuring that it could gleam with a delicate luster under the strobe lights instead of cheap plastic reflections. The layered structure of the skirt hem is the soul of the entire outfit; the black-and-white spliced inner petticoat not only needs to support a rounded skirt silhouette, but the stacked ruffles on the edges also required a fabric of just the right hardness to ensure that it would remain stiff in the outdoor night wind, rather than being blown into a chaotic mess.

These black off-the-shoulder detached sleeves you see went through multiple pattern adjustments. To achieve that effect of slightly flaring out but tapering back at the wrist from the original work, I lined the cuffs with rigid mesh tulle so the fabric could naturally form an outward-expanding arc. Paired with pure white gloves, it added a touch of ritual to every gesture. The white stockings on the legs were chosen from a slightly translucent matte material, paired with these customized thick-soled black-and-gold Mary Jane shoes, along with that touch of a fine red strap bow on the shoe upper. The overall combination forms a very classic black, white, red, and gold four-color aesthetic in terms of coloration, which is also where the visual recognizability of this character lies.

In terms of makeup, to fit this character's calm and exquisite trait in Genshin Impact, I specially enhanced the depth of the eye makeup. The blue-gray colored contact lenses paired with earth-toned eyeshadow, further accented with a subtle pearlescent shimmer at the corners of the eyes, can quickly grab the gaze during night shoots. The light golden long straight hair is a highlight; the highly smooth hair strands paired with that white ruffled lace hair accessory on top of the head exude a quiet beauty similar to a porcelain doll, whether draped loosely or in motion.

The shooting location was selected on a terrace with classical European stone guardrails, where the warm yellow ambient light in the background was absolutely critical. Since the night was quite dark, we used the main light to illuminate the front details of the character and a secondary light to outline the silhouette of the wig, letting the complex black and white costume stand out against the dark-toned background. Meanwhile, a telephoto lens was utilized to blur the background lights into warm golden bokeh circles, creating a hazy yet magnificent theater atmosphere.

Although the night wind wasn't small during the shoot, blowing the hair strands and skirt hem out of place several times, under the photographer's patient guidance, we captured a few moments when the state was at its most perfect. It not only expressed the elegance of the character but also brought out some dynamic vitality swaying with the wind. Immersing myself in such a high-difficulty outdoor shoot is extremely helpful for elevating my own makeup/styling abilities and lens performance. On the path of restoring anime characters, there are always endless details to explore; every single costume prepared with heart acts as a bridge to dialogue with the character's soul.

Completing such a detail-heavy Clockwork Princess outfit is a great test of my own Genshin Impact cosplay skills, and I have also gained richer fun and insights from this unique experience of Anime-style photography.
