[Furina cosplay] Genshin Impact Hydro Archon's Light Moments in a Pure White Church

This Furina cosplay photoshoot primarily aimed to capture the elegance and purity of the Hydro Archon from Genshin Impact. When selecting the venue, we deliberately avoided crowded indoor conventions and opted for an outdoor structure featuring pure white Gothic arches and a transparent glass dome for our Church photography session. The weather on the day of the shoot was exceptionally clear, with the vibrant blue sky serving as a natural backdrop.

Regarding the outfit, this Furina design has many meticulous details. A white fur collar pairs with a navy blue corseted bodice, accented with delicate gold chains and metal accessories across the chest. The skirt on the lower half is crafted from multiple spliced materials, especially the large light gauze skirt tail in gradient blue attached at the waist, which ripples like water under sunlight. The wig features a light blue and white gradient with a natural cowlick hair tuft on top; during styling, we used a generous amount of hairspray to keep it secure.

Since the venue is a pure white architectural structure, controlling the light severely tested the photographer's skills. If exposure wasn't handled properly with this white architecture and blue sky combination, it could easily cause facial overexposure or loss of architectural detail. Photographer @可乐泡枸杞啊 and I discussed camera parameters prior to shooting, focusing on protecting highlight details. We shot several sets on the glass-domed terrace where light was remarkably translucent; with rolling mountains and green trees outside, glass reflections cast the sky's blue onto floor tiles, creating a dreamy refraction effect ideal for Anime-style photography.

Among this set, my favorite action was lifting the skirt hem while raising one leg; to express the Hydro Archon's agility and carefree nature, I tried it multiple times. Controlling the skirt's wind-blown trajectory was harder than imagined, and combined with high-heeled nude sandals featuring gold straps, stepping on smooth tiles felt slippery and slightly unstable, so I repeated the motion several times for optimal results. The photographer was extremely quick, capturing the exact moment the skirt flared. When shooting beneath white Gothic arches, intense sunlight cast bold geometric shadows across floors and walls, adding narrative depth to the composition. This Furina cosplay session was not only character recreation but also practice for my own bodily expression. In post-processing, we avoided heavy liquifying adjustments, focusing instead on environmental clarity and natural skin tones, aiming to present the serene beauty of a character walking out from the deep waters.
