Putting on this pure white cheongsam, I captured Kasugano Sora's quiet and delicate temperament into the lens. This shooting theme was actually planned long ago; Sora-chan's image inherently carries a cool elegance, and presenting it with a modified cheongsam in an all-white outfit makes it look visually lightweight and pure. The subtle patterns and black frog button details on the cheongsam are excellent, and when paired with long white gloves, the overall ensemble builds a very complete visual tone. On the day of the shoot, I prepared a black plush rabbit as a prop, which perfectly echoed the classic black-and-white color combination. The soft texture of the rabbit makes the entire frame look more full of daily life vibes.

To restore Kasugano Sora's slightly frail yet determined temperament, a lot of thought went into styling the top of this white wig, and the combination of the bow and mask added some playful elements. Whether casually sitting on the outdoor stone steps or riding a vintage rickshaw, every candid shot strived to find that relaxed and natural atmosphere. When the sunlight fell on the cheongsam fabric, the faint reflection gave the material a premium texture, and paired with the thigh-high socks and platform shoes, the whole body proportion was elongated beautifully.

There were actually many fun little episodes during the shooting process, like having to be extra careful when climbing onto the rickshaw while wearing a dress, and always worrying that the plush rabbit would fall when posing with it in various ways. However, the photographer's capturing rhythm was excellent, quickly recording from multiple angles during the time frame when the lighting was most ideal. Personally, my favorite is the first photo, where the lights in the background blur into soft bokeh, making my entire being seem to quiet down.

The side-slit design of the cheongsam actually sets high demands on movements; it needs to reveal an elegant side while remaining dignified and decent, which required adjusting my standing and sitting postures in front of the mirror beforehand to ensure a relaxed feeling in the final frame. Outside of studio shoots, street photography often brings unexpected surprises. The real environment is full of changes, such as the light and shadow of buildings, the texture of the pavement, and the glances from passersby—all of these can become part of the creation, ensuring that this Cheongsam cosplay project is not just a flat reproduction of a 2D image, but a three-dimensional secondary creation through Anime-style photography.
