【Priestess cosplay】Cyber ghost girl Requests Manual Takeover of Combat Operation - Image 1

"Auto-deploy error occurred; requesting manual takeover of combat operation." Paired with this visual presentation, this quote is my most direct expression of the character. Preparing for this Priestess cosplay took quite a while, with the main challenge being how to bring out that eerie, mysterious, and immensely oppressive aura of a "Cyber ghost girl." During the shoot, I specifically chose purple-pink ambient lighting to wash over my face, which, combined with the translucent purple colored contacts I wore, instantly maxed out the character's cold detachment lingering at the edge of digital data.

To better match the texture of this concept, the styling featured a dark purple gradient wig with blunt bangs. The costume consisted of a high-necked white dress: the white bow at the collar paired with hanging black ribbons and metal buckles, along with lace cuffs at the wrists, creating an elegant yet dangerous contrast. We designed several versions of poses and expressions during the shoot, ultimately choosing the index finger pressed against the lips—aiming to convey a playful "shh" that exerts total control over the situation, like an operator executing auto-deploy while silently observing everything from the shadows.

Coupled with the red warning UI borders at the top and bottom of the frame and lines like "Auto-deploy error occurred," the overall post-processing directly anchored the mood at the intersection of tactical wasteland and cyberspace. As a cosplayer, delving into the mindset of a character who is almost indifferent yet maintains absolute control over the big picture was the most challenging and intriguing part of this shoot. Priestess's presence in Arknights lore is profound; that obsessive conviction of "allowing no one to disobey" was tangibly conveyed to the audience through violet gazes, delicate makeup, and a Purple light and shadow atmosphere. From the texture of the pupils to the halo cast by the lighting on my skin, everything achieved my envisioned effect. I'm very satisfied with the recreation and hope everyone viewing these photos can feel this unique sense of digital data from the world of Arknights.
