The corner next to the power equipment on the day of the convention was actually quite interesting. The yellow-and-black caution tape and wire mesh on the side, combined with the cluttered electronic instruments and cables on the ground, gave the photos a special sense of order instead. The combination of the metal framework and the leather bench also provided an excellent textural contrast for this dark-toned outfit.

Carrying the greatsword cosplay props around the venue was incredibly exhausting. To capture a natural effect, I often had to rely on it to support my center of gravity, which actually fits the Arknights character's aloof and quiet personality perfectly. The silver wig suffers a lot under the complex light sources of the exhibition hall, as reflections can easily make it look fake. Therefore, during the shoot, we specifically looked for spots with direct light or shadows to allow the texture of the hair strands to render more naturally. The black coating and silver paneled parts of the cloak showed great layering under the on-site lighting setup, and combined with the belt and over-the-knee boots, the overall silhouette holds up well in the frame.

The photographer for these convention photos found some highly ingenious angles, avoiding the cluttered crowds of passersby in the hall. Instead, they utilized the equipment as foreground or background, seamlessly blending the industrial aesthetic with the character's serene ambiance. Although people were constantly bustling around and many were queuing nearby during the shoot, the final photos turned out to be a truly precious record under such a convention environment. The heavy feel of holding the prop perfectly anchors the overall styling's center of gravity, making the body postures look more natural and relaxed. This photo set didn't intentionally force any exaggerated poses; it relied more on expressions and prop placements to convey the character's temperament. I switched between several postures, including sitting and looking into the lens, as well as kneeling on one knee with the greatsword planted on the ground. The overall rhythm was highly consistent, and the metallic colors of the setting matched the black and gray tones of the character beautifully, making it a visually solid set of convention photos. After finishing this set, I went to explore other booths, but looking back at this anime-style photography work, I still feel that the results from this corner turned out much better than expected.
