After the final photos of this Zenless Zone Zero Sunna cosplay came out, I stared at the pictures for a long time. As a veteran anime fan, being able to cosplay my Main hero Sunna this time—especially interpreting her in the specific context of the Noise reduction test—is a feeling truly hard to summarize in a single sentence. I initially decided to cosplay this character because I was captivated by her vitality and slightly quirky, whimsical charm. So, starting from the wig color, I recreated her traits step by step. The mint green wig is picky about skin tones, so I paired it with matching colored contacts and experimented heavily with eye makeup, using pink and white eyeshadow to create soft, cute, and lively eyes. That tiny black heart-shaped hairclip, though unassuming, breathed agile life into the entire hairstyle—a very pleasant surprise.

Regarding the costume, the white pleated skirt combined with the pink lining not only flatters leg length but also exudes pure maiden charm. The little white wings on the back, the pointed horns on top of the head, paired with the vibrant red bow tie and yellow bell, created a rich yet harmonious color scheme. The white thigh-high stockings on my legs along with pink platform shoes not only made my legs look more slender, but the clunky sound of walking in thick soles also made me feel like a real toy angel. While this outfit might look simple, I deliberately selected wrinkle-resistant and structured fabrics to ensure the skirt maintained perfect fluffiness throughout the shoot. The red straps on the detached sleeves also took a lot of effort to secure so they wouldn't slip out of place while posing.

As for props, I prepared a pink megaphone with 'STAFF' written on it along with the handheld audio speaker component—both standard elements of this character's Angels of Delusion form. Holding these props during the shoot, I almost felt like I was broadcasting some major announcement. Photo 1 is a casual mirror selfie in the restroom, relaxed and down-to-earth, completely documenting my outfit's condition at the time. Photo 2 is my favorite half-body close-up: I rested the winged heart-shaped sunglasses atop my head and held the pink megaphone, which looked exceptionally atmospheric under the lighting.

Completing a high-quality cosplay all by oneself is actually quite challenging. From early reference research and custom tailoring to test makeup and post-processing photo adjustments, every single step requires immense patience. Throughout this journey, I also came to understand why this character is so widely loved. Although we may not have such fantastical experiences in real life, this medium makes me feel much closer to the character. I don't intend to show off; I just feel that bringing my beloved Sunna into the real world through such a special way and sharing her with fellow fans is something profoundly meaningful. Although the photoshoot was somewhat exhausting, seeing the final images filled my heart with satisfaction. I want to keep exploring other possibilities with this character, and I look forward to making even more progress in my photography and posing skills.
