Deciding to do a Sunna cosplay from Zenless Zone Zero was something I started preparing a while ago. Because this look has so many details, from the moment I got the wig and clothing accessories, I had been looking forward to the final result of the studio shoot. The venue for today's photo set was chosen at a friend's pink-themed photography room, where the overall atmosphere is already quite intense, perfectly matching the sweet-yet-cool vibe of the character Sunna.

Let's first talk about the makeup and styling part that I'm relatively satisfied with. The mint green wig is the soul of the overall look, but because of its large curls and the need for a fluffy feel, styling it was exceptionally time-consuming. I spent a lot of thought adjusting the layers and the curvature on both sides of the wig, especially the bangs area, cutting them to create that airy shattered hair effect. Then, pinning that iconic large cyan bow at the top, paired with those few small black hairpins in front and the characteristic geometric ornaments, gives it that adorable anime-style lively vibe.

For the costume pairing, the core lies in the application of pink and white striped elements. Both the sleeves and the over-the-knee socks adopt pink and white horizontal stripes; these eye-catching horizontal stripes bring a natural visual expansion and vitality. To prevent the overall look from appearing bloated, the lower body is paired with a black puffy short skirt, while using a black thigh ring and that tiny mint green bow on the thigh ring to create a subtle color-clashing echo. This not only clearly divides the upper and lower body proportions visually but also makes the leg lines look much more slender. The white short-sleeved shirt features ruffled cuffs, combined with the angel wings pattern on the red tie, perfectly neutralizing the hardness of the black, making it look quite playful. This makes a stunning Pink-themed outfit.

Among the prop pairings, that pink megaphone counts as a highly eye-catching piece of equipment. This prop is not only large in volume, but its weight is also heavier than imagined. During the shoot, I needed to grab it with a single hand or lift it high up to strike poses, which posed quite a challenge to wrist strength and arm control. To ensure a smooth shoot, I even reinforced some decorations on the edges of the prop myself during the preparation stage to prevent them from falling off during handling.

During the shooting process, I tried several different states. For instance, when holding the megaphone, my gaze would turn slightly colder, which, paired with the overall high-saturation color clashing, delivers a cool vibe of "ready to strike at any time." On the other hand, sitting on the chair and lifting my feet to fully display the pink platform shoes and pink striped socks before the lens allows the whole person to relax, capturing that daily lazy and cute atmosphere. The floor of the room itself features pink and white checkerboard tiles, which, coordinated with the solid pink walls, the claw machine behind, and the wallpaper of a little pink rabbit on the computer screen, completely envelops the space in pink.

Although the room environment is a single pink tone, because the character's clothing contains large areas of white, red, and mint green, during post-processing we focused heavily on calibrating the skin tone and the original color values of the costume to prevent color interference from causing the subject to look dull. To make the frame more translucent, we adjusted the exposure and the highlight areas of the shadows, preserving that bright, sweet-yet-cool, and highly energetic feeling. The color restoration of the entire set of Cosplay photos is very high; as an indoor studio shoot record with a specific theme, everything from wig trimming to styling details and prop interactions reached my anticipated restoration effect.
