[Kasugano Sora cosplay] white lace dress and Grey Bear Under the Warm Sunlight

This shoot primarily centered on the Anime girl styling of Kasugano Sora, with thorough preparations made from hair and makeup to post-processing. For the hair, a high-quality blonde wig was styled into Blonde twin tails tied with black ribbons on each side, and the curve of the bangs was meticulously trimmed to complement my face shape. The outfit was a white lace dress with delicate camisole straps made of soft material, featuring layered ruffles along the hem that paired seamlessly with the lace textures of the bedspread.

The setting was a room featuring a vintage wrought-iron bed with fantastic lighting, where warm afternoon sunlight filtered through the white sheer curtains, enveloping everything in a soft glow. A grey teddy bear was specially prepared as a prop; sitting on the bed holding the bear made arm placements feel more natural and further highlighted the character's quiet, introspective temperament.

To flatter the lines of both the dress and the legs, I repeatedly adjusted my seated posture and center of gravity. For example, bending one leg slightly on the sheet while resting both hands crossed before the bear showcased the flowing hem of the dress without looking stiff. Because backlighting can easily darken the face, a reflector was specifically used to fill in light, preserving the skin's smooth, luminous clarity.

Post-processing avoided dramatic reshaping, focusing instead on harmonizing Warm-toned lighting and shadows and brightening highlights to lend the frame a hazy, dreamlike quality. At the same time, distracting background clutter was subtly removed to keep the visual focus centered on the subject. Throughout the shoot, adjusting the fine details of the wig and skirt hem took the most time, but seeing the final images made every preparation worthwhile. This was an immersive recreation of the character, aiming to capture her delicate vulnerability tinged with subtle defiance.
