Today's set features Sunna from Zenless Zone Zero, centered on the Angels of Delusion theme. What captivated me most about this look is its sharp stylistic contrast—the aesthetic tension of candy and chains mentioned in the notes. The hair features a long, wavy light-mint-green wig, accented at the crown with a pale-blue ribbon bow alongside black sticker-style clips shaped like gaming console buttons and volume bars, marrying digital arcade flair with feminine sweetness. The makeup emphasized enlarged eye contours paired with a bold red lip; the first photo captured a dynamic wink with a peace sign, finished with mint-green nail polish mirroring the hair color.
The wardrobe is packed with details. The top is a white short-sleeved collared shirt with ruffled cuffs, anchored at the collar by a red necktie detailed with white star prints and black buckle clasps, complemented by a black choker around the neck. The bottom features a tiered black ruffled puff skirt with a subtle sheen. The arms sport pink-and-white striped arm warmers secured with black upper-arm straps. The leg styling is asymmetrical: the right leg wears a pink leg ring connecting down into white distressed fishnet Stockings, while the left leg wears pink-and-white striped slouch socks paired with chunky white platform sneakers. An eye-catching cartoon plush pouch hangs at the waist, accompanied by a pink cartoon magical wand held in hand.
The shoot was staged in an intricately decorated indoor set evoking a charming dessert shop or cafe kitchen. Pink-and-white cabinetry adorned with star-shaped knobs, natural wood countertops, and pink-and-white checkerboard floor tiles set the scene. On the counter sat a vintage blue toaster, alongside a pink teapot and cups. Wooden louvered blinds hung in the background, flanked by a wall poster reading 'Dessert Time.' The warm, ambient lighting cultivated a cozy, luminous glow.
As a cosplayer, adapting your presence before the lens to match the garment's essence is paramount. The standing pose in Photo 2 adopts a calmer stance with crossed legs, showcasing the full silhouette and leg lines while accentuating the Stockings and leg garter details. I communicated extensively with the photographer, exploring numerous facial cues and gestures to highlight that sweet-yet-edgy balance. This series strives to embody the character's lively, mildly rebellious spirit and the magnetic charm of the Angels of Delusion concept. From color harmony to prop selection, every element stayed faithful to canon while embracing personal expression. To prevent the multi-tiered ruffles from looking bulky, we finely adjusted the waistline repeatedly to preserve proportional balance. The striped arm warmers fit snugly without restricting mobility, allowing my gestures to remain fluid. The wand prop carried just enough weight—though holding it aloft tired my arm over time, the visual payoff was undeniable. The dessert shop props, such as the little teapot and toaster, introduced a lived-in warmth that sparked wonderfully against the character's fantastical presence. From early makeup trials to post-production, we devoted every effort to capturing that interplay of sweetness and coolness. I hope everyone enjoys this thoughtfully crafted look.
