Cutting straight to the point. This time, I cosplayed Nangong Yu in her camisole look, with the overall concept blending sweetness and rebellious edge. The pink sleeveless camisole is the undisputed visual focal point, printed with several adorable cartoon motifs, while white piping on the black athletic shorts lends a distinct sporty flair. The cat face print on the right side of the shorts is a personal favorite, elevating basic shorts with high character recognition.
I put considerable thought into the accessories as well. For arms, I wore black-and-white striped sleeves featuring black ruffled trim at the wrists for added dimensional depth. For legwear, I opted for an asymmetrical style: one leg sporting pure black over-the-knee Stockings, and the other wearing black, white, and pink striped slouch socks, whose contrasting stripes are visually eye-catching. The studded thigh garter on the right leg resonated neatly with the black studded platform creepers, firmly anchoring the visual center of gravity.
Head styling was one of the core elements of this cosplay. Black twintails were accented with vibrant bright-pink peekaboo streaks, while the mint-green bow clip and floating green halo stood out brilliantly against the dark night sky. The white wing props on my back took plenty of tinkering; red dot accents along the wing tips added a hint of fantasy whimsy. To anchor them firmly to my back without swaying, transparent acrylic supports were built into the rigging. The black-and-pink cat-head wand prop held in hand not only echoed the cat motif on the shorts, but also served as the handiest interactive prop during posing.
For makeup, to channel the character's temperament, I wore crimson contact lenses and focused heavily on the eyes. Wide sweeps of pink eyeshadow blending across the lower eyelids and outer corners cultivated a subtle yandere, languid aesthetic. The base makeup remained dewy and clear, paired with a natural nude lip tint to keep the look uncluttered.
The photoshoot took place along nocturnal city streets, where pedestrian crosswalks and glowing neon store signs provided a moody urban backdrop. Cool-toned street lamps collided vividly with the pink and neon-green accents of the styling. To achieve striking pictures, I explored varied dynamic poses across the zebra crossing—such as balancing on one leg and leaning forward toward the camera to create forced perspective. To flatter leg lines and emphasize the contrast between the over-the-knee stocking and slouch sock, I shifted my body weight repeatedly to keep postures effortless and natural. While the platform shoes offered great height, standing on uneven road surfaces was physically tiring. Shooting this Anime-style fashion in outdoor night streetscapes blended crisp light textures with raw street ambiance perfectly, making it an exceptionally thrilling shoot.
