This afternoon tea-themed shoot for Zenless Zone Zero's Sunna actually took quite a long time to prepare. To restore Sunna's slightly languid yet cute state, I put a lot of thought into the matching of the costume and the scene.

First, let's talk about this outfit. Although the black-and-white color-blocked maid-style dress is a classic style, the texture must be top-notch. I specifically selected fabric with stiff lace trimming, so that the ruffles of the skirt hem would have a three-dimensional fluffiness on camera, rather than clinging limply to the body. The red bow tie and small gold bell on the costume are important visual focal points and needed their positions adjusted just right. The cat ear headband on the head is equally important; the white lace on the edge and the shaped hair accessory with a small animal pattern in front of the forehead were both meticulously fixed to ensure they wouldn't shift during shoots due to large movements. The wig part consists of light mint-green twin tails; after trimming layers and styling them into natural curves, paired with soft eye makeup and pink-toned blush, it enhances the character's 2D anime feel.

Leg details are also a major highlight of this styling. Over-the-knee white stockings paired with white slouch sock covers, with the red bow at the sock cuff serving as the finishing touch that breaks the monotony of the all-white look. The shoes are a pair of black-and-white platform sneakers with green accents, which not only match the character's attire but also prevent fatigue when standing or sitting during actual shooting. Regarding props, the red-and-black trumpet-shaped object is highly recognizable; holding it to strike poses immediately captures the character's vibe.

The background chosen this time is a pink-toned gaming room. To fit the afternoon tea theme, I utilized a pegboard storage rack, a pink gaming chair, and even a pink metal shopping cart. Shooting among these cute, everyday home furnishings makes Sunna feel less like an aloof game character and more like a girl who just finished gaming and is casually relaxing in her room. For example, in the shot sitting on the sofa, I placed a small pony plush toy and a pink flower potted plant in the foreground to increase depth of field and layering; in the shot sitting on the floor with legs extended forward, it not only elongates the leg lines and showcases the thickness and texture of the slouch socks, but also makes the overall figure look more relaxed and natural.

Controlling light and shadow is particularly crucial in indoor photography. We tried to make the most of natural light by the window, softly casting it onto the side of the face and the light-colored wig to make the skin look more translucent. The poses in every photo, such as sitting and touching the cat ears or hugging the prop while looking at the lens, were captured after repeatedly adjusting angles on-site. Looking through the entire set of photos, the overall atmosphere is very harmonious, fully displaying Sunna's cuteness and a tiny bit of tsundere charm within the frame.
