[Aston Machan cosplay] Valentine's Day Exclusive: Sweet Moments of Umamusume: Pretty Derby - Image 1

This photoshoot was mainly centered around the Valentine's Day theme, so I chose to recreate Aston Machan from Umamusume: Pretty Derby. To match the festive holiday atmosphere, I specially prepared a white dress adorned with ruffles and brown accent lines, paired with White stockings. The overall visual tone was set to pure white and light pastel shades, perfectly highlighting the soft, sweet ambiance of Valentine's Day cosplay.

Regarding hair and makeup, the primary focus was wig styling. Aston Machan's twin-tail hairstyle required curling irons to achieve natural, fluffy curves, accented with white star hair accessories on the side. For makeup, light blue contacts added a sense of clarity, and warm-toned blush was applied slightly lower on the cheeks to evoke a more adorable expression. The rings on the fingers and the bow at the neckline were also neatly arranged to ensure detail integrity from every camera angle.

The shooting set featured an all-white background and an abundance of white plush rugs, complemented by various sizes of white bunnies, pink bears, and purple plush toys. To blend seamlessly with the props, I knelt amidst the pile of stuffed animals. Sitting among soft items required careful balance control. The White stockings cleanly elongated leg lines against the white backdrop; to achieve ideal angles, knee and leg positions had to be continuously adjusted while propping up on plush cushions, striking playful heart-sign poses for the camera.

Post-processing avoided complex special effects, instead adding hand-drawn brown heart-line borders alongside Japanese doodles with hearts and musical notes at the top. This enhanced the fairytale, Cute style cosplay charm of the image. Sharing this outfit and preparation process serves to document how this styling translates within a Valentine's Day context, alongside the harmonious texture interplay between White stockings and plush props. Throughout the shoot, I practiced emoting with the lens, hoping everyone can feel this pure, joyful atmosphere.
