Shooting Chisa's Peach Sorbet swimsuit from Wuthering Waves actually involved far more intricate prep than expected. To authentically capture an outfit packed with sweet summer vibes, considerable thought went into material selection. The outer sheer tulle had to be translucent without feeling scratchy, and the pink gingham print needed to match the original design's palette closely. The ruffled borders and several 3D floral accents were hand-sewn into place one by one to ensure natural depth on camera. The criss-cross straps and thigh rings were also key elements—when wrapping them, the tension required careful balancing so they stayed snug without digging into the skin or disrupting clean lines, which could otherwise impede circulation during longer shoots.

For the wig, Chisa's long straight black hair with blunt bangs easily risks looking stiff. Upon receiving the base wig, I deliberately thinned the bangs and shaped the curve of the side locks to contour the face naturally while preserving layered texture at the back. Maintaining an airy feel was crucial, so I treated the fibers with smoothing spray beforehand to prevent any fuzziness under studio lighting.

Regarding makeup, to complement the pink swimsuit and sweet aesthetic, I chose reddish-pink circle lenses and deepened the outer corners of the eyes with matching eyeshadow for an innocent gaze. Blush was swept higher across the cheekbones, accented with highlighter to achieve a dewy, translucent complexion on camera. A glossy lip tint completed the look, keeping the overall makeup clean and radiant.

The shoot was held indoors across two main sets: a bathtub and a hanging rattan chair. The white bathtub acted as a natural bounce, making skin tones appear even clearer, though extra care was taken to keep mist from disturbing the makeup while soft lighting prevented harsh overhead shadows on the face. While in the tub, I relaxed my shoulders and neck, resting my arms or clasping them gently on the edge with closed eyes or sideways glances to capture a serene, slightly playful mood.

Moving to the rattan swing chair brought richer layers of light and shadow. Seated on the swing, core engagement centered in the lower back and abdomen; to present graceful, relaxed leg lines on camera, leg placement required constant micro-adjustments. In the shot hugging a cushion, tucking the chin slightly and locking eyes directly onto the lens amplified connection with the viewer. Another pose stretching out crossed legs helped elongate proportions for a more expansive silhouette. Throughout the session, the surrounding greenery and coarse weave of the rattan created a wonderful textural contrast with the smooth sheer fabrics of the swimsuit.

Looking back across the entire shoot, the biggest takeaway was meticulous detail management. From costume prep and nuanced makeup to continuous pose refinement, every element had to be balanced. Successfully bringing this Chisa Peach Sorbet look to life feels like the best reward for all the preparation.
