Cartethyia, whom I cosplayed this time, has always been a character I really love. To recreate her holy yet slightly cool and aloof temperament, I did a mountain of homework ranging from costume to hair and makeup for this Anime cosplay. The color and braiding details of the wig were adjusted repeatedly, and the elf ear accessories were specially chosen in a material closer to my skin tone, making the on-camera effect much more natural.

I actually care a lot about the character's micro-expressions. Cartethyia is not someone who openly displays her emotions, so there needs to be a sense of calm confidence in her eyes. During the shoot, the photographer helped me capture many dynamic moments, such as the strength in my fingertips when picking up the greatsword, my posture with ankles crossed while sitting on a Roman column, and when the ribbons were blown up by the wind, making my entire state appear very light and airy.

The color scheme of this outfit is quite distinctive, with a large area of white paired with blue and gold decorations, combined with a matte-textured black lining, making the overall feel look premium. The size of the prop sword is large enough to feel exceptionally heavy in hand, which instead brings out the character's heroic spirit. Before the shoot, I specifically checked the metallic luster of all accessories and the drape of the fabric, repeatedly adjusting the details on-site.

Although it was a studio shoot, the stained glass windows and white carved pillars in the background really match this character, creating a peaceful and ritualistic atmosphere like being in a church. I hope this photo set can convey the Cartethyia in my heart—a holy maiden who is firm, gentle, and bravely embraces her mission.
