[Altria cosplay] The Cold, Kingly Aura of Suit Saber

This Suit cosplay styling is one of my personal favorite versions of Altria, and I had always wanted to shoot this set of official Fate/Zero photos. The initial reason for choosing this theme was the unique sense of contrast between the sharp lines of a suit and the setting of the King of Knights. From costume selection to prop preparation, everything strictly adhered to the familiar design. A dark suit paired with a dark shirt and tie, complemented by black gloves, gives a particularly sharp, capable, and aloof impression, completely shedding the usual soft and cute feel associated with her ahoge. The black platform shoes on my feet also ensured the crisp neatness of the overall look, carrying rhythm and presence with every step.

In terms of props, the longsword adorned with blue and gold patterns is quite heavy. Holding it for a long time indeed made my wrist sore, but it is precisely this authentic weight that better fits the character's setting as a warrior and king. To shoot this set, we put quite a bit of thought into the set design, deliberately choosing this vintage indoor scene featuring a fireplace and a white Christmas tree. The floor is wooden parquet, and the walls are decorated with classic picture frames. The warm yellow lighting cast a wonderful contrast against the cool-toned black suit.

During the shoot, we experimented with several different states. The pose in the first photo, sitting on a chair with legs crossed and resting hands on the sword hilt, was designed to highlight a composed and majestic royal posture; when looking into the lens, the gaze needed to be reserved rather than approachable. In close-up shots, gazing forward with green eyes while a gloved hand partially conceals the lips aims to capture Altria's distinct cool, mysterious, and slightly melancholic temperament. The standing pose with hands gripping the sword hilt was also meant to emphasize her resolute determination—standing straight and meticulous.

Throughout the entire process, the photographer continuously guided me to adjust the angle of my gaze and hand details, helping me immerse myself better into character. Special thanks to the post-processing refinement, which rendered the skin tones just right and gave the fair complexion more texture, creating a clean image full of visual tension. Although maintaining fixed poses throughout the shoot was far from easy, seeing the final finished photos made all the effort feel completely worthwhile.

I hope this set allows everyone to feel another facet of Saber's charm under this unique Suit cosplay attire, experiencing the focus, perseverance, and composure conveyed through each gaze and gesture. Every shutter press is an interpretation of this suit-and-sword aesthetic. I hope everyone enjoys this stylistic endeavor and appreciates the distinct aura that Altria brings. The post-shoot fatigue dissipated with these satisfying results, serving as a meaningful reinterpretation of the character.
